What are you playing this weekend, SW?

This week was a so-so week for me, SW, so I'm looking forward to some games this weekend! Still have Nioh 2 and Super Mario 3D World to play, along with the usual Call of Duty and other pick up and play stuff I have. I've been going really slow with Nioh 2, only done a few levels so far. As for 3D World, I'm about halfway through the normal campaign and then onto Bowser's Fury!

I took a chance on trying Nier Automata last night (thanks Gamepass) and ended up playing it for 5 hours straight. So looking forward to finishing work today to get back into it.

And probably trying to become less shit at table tennis in Eleven Table Tennis on Quest 2.

Great game. I recommend doing the subsequent playthroughs. They unlock different story perspectives and you get different endings. There are 5 major ones I think.

Spiderman and offroad racing on ps4 and probably wreckfest on gamepass.

How's spiderman on PS4?

I'm kinda waiting to play the 60fps version on PS5, but there's no telling when they'll ever be available.

This week I'm replaying Doom: Eternal and no, I'm no ghost but the game itself is a lot of fun in its own way. Gonna try and finish up Cyberpunk 2077 but lately I been distracted by other games I been playing lol. Going on my 4th play Mass Effect: Andromeda as we speak so there's that.

Lol, you would be ghost if you decided to make 5 threads about Doom Eternal asking the same thing, just worded slightly differently 😋 JK, Ghost!

Gonna play Just Cause 3.

@R4gn4r0k: Spiderman is great so far already looks incredible on ps4 slim with HDR can only imagine how great it looks on ps5.

Yeah it's ray tracing looks neat, but I still think I'd prefer playing in 60fps all the time :D

Maybe doing the ray tracing once to see what it looks like.

I also like how the main character looks in the PS4 version way more than what he looks like in the PS5 version.

Inside, Genshin Impact and now that I read that someone will play Nier Automata I kinda want to replay it, so maybe that as well.

PS5 enhanced Division 2 and Control, along with some Starcraft 2.

I wish Division 2 added adaptive trigger support, makes a big difference.

I already got 1 ending when I got killed by that massive spinning cog thing on in the first few mins.

Monster hunter world and Ys8. picked up ys8 last week and have been enjoying it.

YS8: nice and light, bust up some monsters, explore some areas and get told a nice bedtime story gaming (i am playing on easy because I'm tired after work....that's my excuse anyway :P). feels odd not playing it on a portable though.

MH:W. need to get revenge on a shrieking legianna.

MHGU! Never thought it would happen but I am loving the Insect Glaive after years of being strictly GS. Now I got some serious decisions to consider heading into MH Rise.

Will dabble in some Dark Souls Remastered on PC. Just scooped it during the lunar sale.

Assassins Creed Valhalla, PUBG , and probably Sniper Elite 4

@gym_lion: Yeah there are a lot of those endings, but he meant full playthroughs.

Been playing 3D world with my GF. Just finished GoW for the third time, so I jumped back into Day's Gone.

Probably more Tyranny. And doing work. So much work.

Oh yea, there's like 5 major endings, but like all the other endings are slight variations. If I recall, some of them can be really silly. I only did the major endings though.

3D world. First time I finished the game, and i'm just collecting Cat Shines in Bowser's Fury (have 73). It's surprisingly good.

More Nioh 2. About half way through the final zone, been doing every sub mission, dojo mission, and twilight mission along the way lol. It's a big ass game.

Will probably tackle the expansions as well, have a pretty sick build going.

Still playing AC Valhalla (PC), also playing Blossom Tales (Switch).

More Nioh 2.

Catherine Classic, PUBG and maybe Monster Hunter: World.

mostly Valheim still.

I started Nioh 2 but I haven't really gotten into it yet. Valheim is pretty intensive in terms of needing my time and focus so I feel like I can't have 2 games going with that requirement at the same time so I'll probably but it to the side until i'm not playing Valheim as much.

I'll probably play more DOA6, Horizon Zero Dawn, and Cyberpunk 2077. Whatever I'm in the mood for really.

No idea. Probably Total War: Warhammer II. That's what I'm feeling like right now.

In truth, I've been going straight home after my Warframe'n'YouTube unwind session, then watching the tennis, writing stuff, and dabbling in Heroes of Might & Magic V on my laptop.

Some COD zombies. My weekly Sea of Thieves session. If I get any solo time, I've been enjoying some State of Decay 2 lately.

Still playing through Mario 3D World on Switch... then I'll move onto Little Nightmares 2.

I'll play GTA Vice City. For the first time ever, actually. I'm interested to see what I have been missing.

Just finished the main campaign in Valhalla, thankfully i don't give a shit about the stories in video games or i'd be pissed over that one 🤣🤣🤣

Going to mop up a few cheevos tonight after work. And move onto something else.

Yeah, usually run out of steam and get bored with these longer games, but it kept me hooked.

Same problem as Nioh 1 tho, got a bit too easy in the back half. Had to do some self imposed limitations to keep it interesting. No doubt I'll be changing my tune with the DLC and NG+

I've only gotten as far as beating the fire tornado boss lol. I don't really play much during the week. Have no idea when I'll finish it lol.

Some more Ys IX: Monstrum Nox. Amazing game all around.

@Gatygun: Yeah finished off the hidden ones story, beat all orlog players, beat all the flytings, found all wealth, mysteries and artifacts for every region.

Just have a few little things to mop up, like getting the settlement to lvl 6, catching all fish etc, hoping to finish it off tonight.

My stats read over 150hrs, but i did lose at least 20hrs due to the game not auto saving properly and having my save get corrupted.

Damn, you really love Assassins Creed.. did you know that Horizon Zero Dawn and Ghost of Tsushima are inspired by AC? Oh wait, those are Sony games 🤭

Horizon and Ghost would be right up his alley, he'd probably even like GoW which has superior gameplay vs. Asscreed, but nooooh they're on Playstation :D :D :D
