Perhaps an X1X? A new graphics card? New TV set?
What are you looking for this Black Friday System Wars? Of course it has to be gaming related.
Personally looking for a new computer case. My good old HAF 932 is showing its age.
Cyber Monday all the way! There are too many assholes on Black Friday and finding a parking space and waiting in lines is a Bitch!
Now then, what will I buy? I'm waiting to see if any deals will happen on a GTX 1080, (or GTX 1070Ti) I want to get one, but I would hate to buy one now, and have some sort of deal with it, during Cyber Monday.
Nothing on black Friday.
The only thing I'm looking to get isn't video game related. It is DC Universe 10th Anniversary 30 Films Collection on Blu-ray.
I chill at the crib on Black Fridays, already have most of what I want anyways, I might indulge in a few more digital sales though.
I want a 1080ti but they are no decent deals around these parts.
I'll probably get one when they announce a ffxv bundle. Its a gameworks title so there's bound to be one.
I used to take advantage of Black Friday/Boxing Week to scoop up a few games for dirt cheap. However, I find that by the time I actually get to said game, its regular price (or often sale price) is what I had paid for it 6 months prior. I'm going to sit out on these sales and play through what I already have.
@CRUSHER88: yeah I learned that with Steam sales long ago. I still fall prey to them from time to time, but I noticed that if I'm not ready to play the game right now then by the time I am the original sale price has often returned or been surpassed
Don't really have any BIG purchases planned for myself. With all the cheap digital purchases throughout the year, I'm finding black Friday deals less and less appealing. Last year I picked up a bunch of $10 games - this year not as much is appealing until we get up to the $20 and $30 games. Like an above user noted, $30 becomes the "regular price" for most of these games anyway.
That being said, that doesn't mean Im not buying anything. Already got a few items.
Already bought Last Guardian for $15.99 with GCU.
Going to get an extra Dualshock 4, although $39 is a somewhat disappointing price compared even to Dualshock 3 controllers - I do need a second controller for some local co-op that we've been wanting to play. I have my eye on the Crystal Blue one from Wal-Mart of all places.
Probably going to get a few other games, but I"m going to take it easy since I still have un-played games from last Black Friday. I might limit myself to like 3 games total. Some years I get like 10+ games and end up not playing half of them until more than a year rolls bye. I always grab a few movies, and I see some UHD titles hitting $9.99 that I'll probably get. Already picked up Cabin in the Woods UHD for $7.88 due to Wal-Mart price error. I have way too many physical blu-rays, but I stlll can't resist buying a few of the dirt cheap blu-rays (when I sell the digital UV codes they practically end up free anyway).
I have my eye on some stuff as gifts, but as far as buying gaming related stuff this will probably be a lighter than usual year.
I buy a game or two every Black Friday but that's usually it.
This year it's Resident Evil 7 and Forza Horizon 3- both $15 at Target
Looking forward to Cyber Monday deals. I don't plan on buying any games or hardware this year for Black Friday but if I see something worthwhile online I may cave in.
we have black friday here too, but it's not the same thing, the shops took it over from the united states, We already had similar discount days after the holidays, and it lasts till the end of the stock is gone. You never really see the madness you see over there though, sure it's a bit more crowdy, but I can't imagine someone fighting over a bargain deal over here.
Having said that, I need a new cpu, and I promised myself to wait till black friday, but I probably won't be able to wait and buy it today. I really can't see cpu's getting major discounts anyway.
Ill probably check Bestbuy/Amazon Cyber Monday sales, not a fan of going into the chaos.
Last year I bought KS8000, cant really think of anything i want this year.
I may buy some games, but my backlog is HUGE so not sure if thats wise lol.
Also just bought a GTX 1080ti to replace my 1080. Im over SLI so it was the only upgrade option.
The PC stuff i bought on sale were my CPU/GPU, cheaper than this black friday crap.
It's all lies, most of the deals are no different to sales throughout the year.
Guess i'm just waiting for the GOG/Steam winter sales.

I'll probably pick up some more random loot crates from the pet store. Just dead cats so far, but I don't care, I'm having a whale of a time. Fingers crossed, guys! :)
Where you at?
belgium
Cannot help with that unfortunately.
Overclockers.uk have some BF CPU deals.
Caseking (Germany) probably as well
Nothing, don't want nothing to do with the traffic and crowds but I will be keeping an eye on Cyber Monday and if I see some sweet deals I may bite.
Staying home while people pepper spray and shoot at each other.
hahaha this. black friday is stupidiest while entertainment event.
I never went to any mall or even a shop at black friday. i rather buy expensive product than getting push continusly to buy cheaper product.
@dalger21: seems like a good deal for that price, hard to go back from 144hz once you get to experience it
I'm still waiting for a good Nioh (PS4) sale... Horizon Zero Dawn aswell
edit: just noticed Nioh is €20 this black friday in my country... nice. Nioh for me this christmas :)
