Weakest game lineup this gen?

From many game comparison threads that i've seen, it usually goes like this for games.

1. 360

2. PS3

3. Wii

Now, i don't know how the Wii is always mentioned last in the game department. From my point of view the Wii Crushes PS3 in software by far. SMG (08 GOTY), SSBB, NMH, MP3, and many more completely crush what the PS3 has to offer. What exactly does the PS3 offer? Uncharted? HS? Warhawk? It's best game is a FPS launch game, yet people still say the Wii's lineup is the weakest.

Sure the PS3 has potential to aquire a better library than the other consoles, but these games are not out now. So tell me, what makes PS3's lineup so much better than Wii's?

In terms of what has actually been released thus far, for me X360 and Wii are in close competition, and PS3 is a pretty distant third.

THe Ps3 has many more exclusive and orginal games than the wii. all the wii games have some type of mario zelda etc. in them.

well statistically speaking the wii probably has the worst in terms of average score...where as the 360/pc and PS3 share alot fo great multiplat games and also have some of their own exclusives. thats not to say the WIIs line up is all bad though...not at all. there quite a bit of quality there if u dig around.

for me though, i have more wii games than PS3 and 360 games combined becuase my PC gets most of the games that are on the 360 and PS3. im sure more exclusives will appear for the 360 and PS3 (well PS3 anyway..god knows what MS are planning with PC and 360) to make them earn their keep more but right now its pretty much all PC and wii for me really.

If its multiplat, its only on 360 and PS3 because the Wii cant support it.

So you compare all the games on PS3 and Wii, PS3s are just alot better.

COD4, Assassins Creed, Uncharted, Warhawk, Oblivion, Resistance, Unreal Tournement 3, Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ratchet and Clank, Heavenly Sword, etc etc

While 360, for the time being atleast, is out to a sizable lead in the software department, I would definetly rank those PS3 titles above a long list of games that all incorporate mario only in different ways on the Wii.

seeing that the gen is like 1/4 over it is hard to say

For me im most interested in Wii titles, then PS3 exclusives, then 360 exclusives. Most of the games i want for the other 2 are multiplats, not exclusives. So either way, which other console i get this year ill have most of the games i want on it.

Easily PS3. Line-Up Refers to game you can only get on that system, hence exclusive games and only exclusive games. If you want to include all the games then you'd be referring to the library.

If exclusives didn't matter then why by a PS3 or a Wii in the first place? Why not just stick with a Gaming PC?

Exclusives are the reason you buy a system.

Well i think PlayStation 3 is the clear winner in that department games like MGS4, Haze, Gran Turismo5, Killzone 2, Little Big Planet, Socom Confrontation, White Knight Chronicles, Disgaea 3, possibly Resistance 2 and FFXIII if we're lucky make the Ps3's line up the most appealing one in my opinion.

Count Multiplats like R6V2, GTAIV And World In conflict and the quality gap grows bigger in the PS3'S favor.

Right now the 360 is best and then people say PS3 over Wii because of muiltplats but if you own a 360 this really damages the PS3's lineup while the Wii lives of exclusives, so for me:

1. 360/Wii

2. PS3 (but thats not including upcoming games)

All the line ups have great games in the future, but I would say either the 360 or PS3 is the weakest because they have alot of Multiplats and if you have one why do you need the other since they share alot of games, I also listed 360 because you can just get alot of the games that are on the 360 for the PC.Nintendo_Ownes7

That logic is stupid though, because you cant play most multiplats on the Wii, so your missing out entirely
