My girl plays:

On consoles: Wii Sports, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, SingStar, and some XBLA games.

DS: Guitar Hero, Mario Bros, Cooking Mama, Elite Beat Agents, Zelda and Hourglass

There are more, but that is a good general idea.

lol! Atleast somebody might know what they're talking about. While I don't really limit myself to this--like alot of girls, im usually an automatic sucker for any game that offers customization, nourishment, human interaction, romance and(or) imagination--unlike bullets, blood and breasts. Of course, even two out of three of those are enjoyable to me as well sometimes. I just don't see a reason to limit myself I guess.

Any game that is easy and doesnt have a lot of violence.

The only girls (ie hot ones) I've seen play games are casual games, usually colourful, and mostly GH and RB.

The girls I know who are gamers (actually own a console) play two genres: RPG and Fighters.

I know alot of girl gamers surprisingly, but there is zero middle ground for them. They either play games where you read a novel worth of text or play games where the sole purpose is to pummel the crap out of as many people as you can in one-on-one matches.

My sister will play any game with the word "Final Fantasy" on it, as well as many other JRPGs. Right now she is mainly playing Brawl. She does play hardcore games too, such as DMC4 on the PC (she beat the game a few days ago), and Titan Quest, etc. When I arrive home from work today, she might be playing Soul Calibur 4 if she buys it when I'm still here, so that will rock :DPandaBear86

I think the craziest thing about this is that you label a brainless button masher like DMC4 hardcore and don't consider Final Fantasy or Soul Caliber to be hardcore.

I never said that Soul Calibur is not harcdore. Its just that I don't have this game yet, so I couldn't have it in the same sentance as DMC4 and Titan Quest. She might buy the game today though. As for Final Fantasy, well seeing that most FF games are out on DS and PSP (Crystal Chronicles, Tactics, Chocobo fables, etc), I don't think that FF is as hardcore today as it was years ago IMO, especialyy since most new FF games on handheld are geared towards a younger audience than the core FF games.
