WarZ taken off Steam

"From time to time a mistake can be made and one was made by prematurely issuing a copy of War Z for sale via Steam," the Valve representative said. "We apologize for this and have temporary [sic] removed the sale offering of the title until we have time to work with the developer and have confidence in a new build."

idk if this has already been posted, but I couldn't find anything on the first/second page....

Well that's great news.

Good one Valve. Here's hoping they actually check the games before they release them on steam from now on.

lol thats how you know a game is bad..... I bought this as I was looking forward to this game but its horrible and looks even worst than it plays.

Good one Valve. Here's hoping they actually check the games before they release them on steam from now on.

They won't though. New games and software is releasing every day on steam it seems and checking all of that would require a team, which costs money. I don't see Valve doing that.

The whole WarZ debacle is just sickening. Clearly just a scam to rob people of their money.

It's kind of funny too. That interview the developers gave was the best thing I read in a while:P

But yeah people getting scammed is not funny :(

Valve has really taken a dent in their reputation to me, whether they knew about the terrible state the game was in or not.

I actually just read that interview. The one on Gamespy.

That guy's English :lol: . Really reminds me of some Eastern European Mobster.
