Code Vein Sales Top 1 Million Worldwide

Action role-playing title Code Vein has sold over 1 million copies worldwide, publisher Bandai Namco has announced. The game, often referred to as 'anime Dark Souls', launched in September last year, and recently it received its first expansion, 'Hellfire Knight'.

It's not a bad result for a game that released during such a busy period -- especially one that was always going to lack mainstream appeal. And with more DLC in the pipeline, Code Vein has the potential to remain reasonably popular over the course of 2020.

Pick this up at some point, but abit sick of Darksouls games.

I'm sorry. I'm one of those who bought it. The game's so easy if you're playing w/ partner. Soloing on the other hand gives you challenge.

I bought it on Steam but have yet to even install it. Too many games to play :(

That’s cool. I really like the art style in this game and enjoy dark souls type games so I’d like to get around to playing this at some time eventually. Too many games, too little time.

I played it, really thought it was a worthy Dark souls clone. Had good fun with it.

Might try it, rather play Nioh.

If the price is right I'll eventually pick this up.

I have it but I am still going through other games in the backlog, hopefully will finally able to play it before Persona 5R and FF7R. Heard its easier to Plat than Soulsborne so it might give some motivation for me to play soon.

I bought it, but only played an hour or so. I'll get around to it at some point.

Such a mediocre game.

I think I put like 15 hours into it or so, it was really good. I need to return to it.

How much did the PC version sell? I would assume the answer is "not enough" if the announcement of Gundam Extreme VS Maxi Boost ON says anything, which in turn is from the same dev team.

I will also add Code Vein is much better Dark Souls clone than the Jedi game.
