Vita's graphics are sick!

I saw it in action for the first time today at game stop. I played virtual tennis and that drake game. I was WOWed. I haven't been blown away like this since the original Halo. I didn't think a hand held could look this good. I have a DS, but I am starting to think VITA.

Yes, the blasted thing gave me motion sickness and I hurled all over myself.

Not only that, but when it came to the Netflix comparison, it actually has less loading times than the 3DS.

I do, it's going to receive both hardcore games and casual touch ware like the 3ds has.

It will. Just be prepared for a brutal summer imo. I have a Vita and I really like it, but I have a feeling that the end of spring-summer time the Vita will really not move to many units.

Then Sony will drop the price just before Assassin's Creed, COD, and Monster Hunter come out. And I foresee a very very successful holiday for the Vita and Sony.

My problem with the Vita is the fact that still, to this day I dont have any idea when the thing released. Thats coming from a gamer, sure its one who had no intentions of buying the thing. But I do listen to gaming podcasts and follow gaming news, but havent seen one single Vita ad with the date. Infact the only ad I've seen is a Taco Bell ad but it didnt say the release date. I worry that Sony isgoing to do what they usually do and blow off advertising this thing. The Vita is priced decently, the memory sticks are over priced and the games are quite expensive when compared to other mobile games on the i-devices (I know the quality and depth is much different on Vita). The initial sales seem to have been pretty underwhelming and other than big gaming fans or Sony fans I know no one who has shown any interest in it. I'm almost sure its going to be a tough year as an early adopter like you said but I still dont know if the Vita can overcome the forces against it.

Finally got my hands on one at a gamestop today.

Graphics looked pretty good, but man, the analog sticks suck.

Yep just like when everyone was up in arms over Chinatown Wars then it came out on PSP with better graphics. I expect the same from RE...hoping at least.

It probably is coming 6-12 months maybe. Who knows if capcom has an exclusive deal with Nintendo. But considering Capcom has already used the MT framework engine on the Vita with excellent results, a port or a new game sounds reasonable.

Vita is without a doubt awesome. Will be getting one when Type 0 comes out. But right now, none of the games appeal to me what so ever, maybe just Uncharted.

Graphics are sick... but did you have fun playing the games I wonder.

Yes. As I recall the same questions were asked about the PSP and it has a very good library whatever some may say about it.

I was skeptical at first as well (surprisingly). I went to Target the other day to pick up the Jak and Daxter Collection (which sadly they didn't have), but what did catch my eye was the Vita playable there. To say the least, my trip wasn't a waste, I spent a good 20 minutes maybe even a half hour trying out each of the game demos they had available. I was blown away, and now I am going to pick one up ASAP.

It definitely has potential, it's a matter of showing people it does by letting them try it out themselves,and also dropping their price and putting out some great software to run on it.

i have played vita the screen and graphics are very over rated. Its no where near as good as the oled that the sony store had. the graphics are ps 2.5 at best!
