vita getting price cut? new bundle $169 + 16gb card in japan

sony announced the debut pack with a 16gb memory card and its cheaper as well. I hope this deal comes over seas, i don't like borderlands and 8gbs is too small for 199.99.

16gb should have been the minimum from the start.

Thats a good price, but there is really nothing to play on it.

And idk how useful 16gb is, but i would imagine is not enough for much at all.

I'll definitely buy one at that price.

I'm pretty sure they stopped selling it here in NA. I never see it anymore.

Well, in Japan, for Japanese gamers, Vita has tons to play. So good for them.

Still waiting for Gravity Rush 2, possible inFamous spin-off and for the love of God, Gran Turismo Vita.

The Vita is awesome. Paying $40 for a freaking 16GB memory card is not.

I might give it serious consideration if they ever made a new model that used SDHC cards instead of Sony's expensive proprietary memory cards.

Much has been said as to why the Vita was a disaster in the West, but I think this is the true #1 reason. It could be so easy to fix it, but they are too proud to even admit that the 3DS (the one with accounts tied to hardware!!!) is a better system for digital storage than the Vita is.

I'll bite at a $100. Thats still too much for a dead fish though. I could buy a GB SP for $20 that has 200% more games.

should work on japan, i doubt its gonna be the same in the states, since you know, most big hits found on vita are japan exclusive

@JangoWuzHere: Yes indeed. I wonder how many worthless 4GB memory cards they made for nothing...the vita should have 4GB of internal RESERVED memory plus the one you add. I have the one with 32GB and its enough, but costed a fortune back then.

Oh man that's a lovely price, would never it that cheap here though.

I was using my 8GB card that came with my vita bundle for quite a awhile now. I had to basically delete half the games on my system before I could play a new game. I finally got a 32GB card for 45$ at a sale. Even at that price, I still felt dirty buying it. I love my Vita, but it sucks having to go through such BS just to have fun with it.
