Vita gets an AAE in Severed #3DSisAPieceofGarbage

Severed, the latest game from Drinkbox Studio (of Guacamelee fame) is out on Vita today!

Unfortunately this may have been the Vita's last chance at AAAE, ending the window on the system ever getting one.

However, the system still has more AAA games overall than its piece of turd competitor, but the 3DS has been a thorough disappointment for anyone with taste, so this was expected.

Sounds good, but they dont sell Vitas no more in my city. Youd have better luck finding a PSP game at local retailers then a Vita one. At least some studio loves Vita, if only Sony would.

I can fully understand why you and you alone hate the 3DS. A system that destroyed your bed partner will tend to do that. Sony gave up on that trash years ago, and so should you.

3DS regularly gets quality games, third party exclusives from companies like Capcom, Atlus and Square Enix. What are they doing for Vita? Nothing. Vita gets sloppy seconds of trash tier games, old game ports, cheap indies and a few off the wall titles like this game that 10 people might play.

@xhawk27: A Vita is a Sony handheld that's less powerful than NVidia Shield but more powerful than 3DS. The Vita has no AAA titles. So basically it's the handheld equivalent of the Xbone.

Vita is the worst system I've ever owned. At least the Xbox One has numerous third party games, Vita has a total of one good game: Persona 4 Golden. Almost every other Vita title is better played on other systems. The system is poorly designed: fragile thumb sticks that aren't clickable, speaker placement under your thumbs so the sound is muffled, expensive proprietary memory cards.

I had never seen gameplay for Severed. Looks interesting, but probably not my cup of tea. I'm pretty packed with RPGs on my Vita though, so I think I'll be okay passing on this one.
