Seems like a cool feature, but also something I'm hoping we can disable if we like. In single player campaigns it would probably be pretty cool, but I'm wondering how it would fare long term on online games.

Yes. I do hope it's possible to disable it.

I'm really hoping the feature would also last reasonably long and not break asap.

I can imagine a scenario where people finding out that it might give in sooner than they'd think so it would be great if they were allowed to disable it every now and then to prolong its proper function.

Once you've experienced the adaptive triggers on your first playthrough, you might disable it for comfort or perhaps even slightly prolong battery life.

It will be awesome when implemented correctly.

For racing games it will be amazing for when traction control kicks in and when locking the brakes, I think that will be the best use of the tech.

If they make it compatible with PC racers I will replace my Elite V2 in a heartbeat.

If you push the controller down in an avocado you can make guacamole. Very handy.

I think it's a cool feature but I tend to disable all rumble/vibration.

You play racing games with traction control on? And the controller is going to rumble its head off around every corner.

Some racing & road cars/bikes use traction control, yes. Also it's called tuning the severity of the rumble.

Everyone that has tried a game with the controller raves about it. That’s got me intrigued for sure

@rzxv04:

I can already see that in function in shooters, to better represent the recoil, on racers as well.

One thing is for sure the DS is the new baby of the industry and they are loving it, all impression had been great so far.

Yeah just like rumble does kill it but unlike on xbox where you are FORCED to buy batteries sony had the decency to pack one since 2006.

Maybe next gen lemmings maybe next gen.

Is not dumb and pretty much every person getting the control on hand is on shock basically at how good is it, you simply can't admit it because well you are a lemming.🤣
