A damn shame. The game will never get the attention it deserves, hell google it and their website wont even be on the front results page.

[QUOTE="Planeforger"]I can sort of understand why it's not on Steam for technical reasons, but it does suck that this will hurt the game's chances of fame.skrat_01Just out of curiosity, what are the technical reasons? It's an AGS game with no alternate resolution options, it's incompatible with the Steam overlay (or at least I think it was for me) and...hm...I guess that's never stopped other Steam games in the past.

Indeed I was waiting for it to come on Steam.
umm...the game looks like it was made for the super nintendo. I googled it and that was my first impressions. I think that would turn off alot of buyers

that strangely wouldnt considering games like Scott Pilgrim,Super meat boy,Megaman and the Sonic the hedgehog 16 bit era games all sell pretty well.
Scott Pilgrim is one of my favourite games on the PSN/XBLA but i havent got round to buying it yet.

When I first saw it I just thought 'Blade Runner' - which definitely made me want to purchase it. The 83 rating on Metacritic certainly helps, too,

The old adage graphics aren't everything. They went for this retro old school adventure style with a conscious decision. I thought the art style & sound was excellent and managed to be very atmospheric.
Shame, altough I already got it from their own website (whenever possible I prefer to buy games from devs themselves, instead of giving Valve a cut for doing..well..almost nothing really).
Fortunately adventure community is pretty well organised and well informed, so lack of Steam version won't kill the game. Still a damn shame.
. Anyway I'm willing to hold out for it on Steam, I've been meaning to buy it for ages and something on my centralised choice for DD is preferable (unless I can get a Steam key buying it directly)skrat_01so bassicaly you just got excuse to never buy it? :)
