Starting today, Xbox One's application for video editing gets a 253mb patch which massively changes its capabilities.
Now you can:
- edit clips up to 30 minutes
- have 15 video segments in a single video
- use ready-made templates for creation
- add splash screens
- use text inside videos
- use green screen effects
- use transitions
- change the sequence of invidiual videos in the entire video segment
- use double-box which is from my understanding any type of a combination of video types, such as two Kinect-recorded pieces of footage or two Game DVR clips at once, and any combination of the two
- use specific types of sequences for your videos, like intros, outros with their own individual effects
Sounds great, although they didn't say anything about being able to upload clips in the background, which to me was previously the single biggest bummer, apart from maybe lack of mass-queue of your uploads.
