This year, they're higher in units in the UK. I don't know what's different about the buying habits of the UK toward gaming, but they seem to have a healthy view of Nintendo as gaming systems for kids. Not like the hardcore manbabies of the US and Japan

the xbox has been having a massive shortage, and besides that the UK has been on sonys nuts for decades now, you can go back to the ps2 and its been the same. Poor folk over there getting scammed so hard on the pos5. They're missing out on true gaming experiences on the xbox.

The PS5 is in a much higher demand. I am seeing the X being available directly through MS (in Canada) all the god damn time, and that since 2020. None of this is a thing with the PS5.

Admit it, MS is getting rolled by Sony and its not by acquiring 2930 developers and releasing trash like Infinite that they stand a chance against the PS5.

The PS5 is much more popular, and with Ragnarok around the corner, it will obliterate the Xbox. Accept your second place until Nintendo releases their system, and then you'll go back to the 3rd place.

I am a Brit, at the very least the S is always in stock and the X is a lot better now. I believe the days of X360 sales are over, and Nintendo need to release a Switch 2 soonish.

Update: The X is in stock in plenty of stores.

Nope. Sony before sometimes relocated shipment of PS5s more elsewhere, less so in UK. It just happens. MS outshipped PS5 globally just once since launch and it was just one quarter.
