Some facts that could kill the Wii-U faster than the Dreamcast...Unfortunately.
First issue as you may know, the tablet controller has only a 3 to 4 hour battery life, and the pro-controller is another $50.
Second and most important STORAGE CAPACITY, 8gb $299 and 32gb $350 model.....Well after an automatic 5gb system update on day one and Nintendoland requiring 10gb of space, there is only about 15gb left on the deluxe model and nothing left on the basic model.
The USB ports are only a 2.0 and not 3.0 so they can only support a 250gb extrernal drive at the most, and the minimum most retailers sell is the 500gb which won't work on the Wii-U, because almost all devices are using 3.0 USB.
Even if you can find an external 250gb drive, thats another $50 to $70 out of pocket.
This info will certainly deter prospective gamers, especially when E3 is here and M$ and sony announce there next consoles which will no doubt put the Wii-U even further behind.
Come on Nintendo, You made billions with the Wii, couldn't you pop for a stronger controller battery and a 250gb hard drive?
After hearing the complaints from gamers, there will no doubt be another Wii-U model released next year with these issues resolved, but that doesn't help the people who spent the money this November.....
Oh well back to my 360....until these issues are resolved i guess.
