EGX Rezzed
The Lizardmen main foes are the Skaven and they fight them in the End Times, so it makes sense CA would put them inside the second game as a faction.

I'm ready. I'm still enjoying the first game. The fact that it expands the first game like an expansion with enough content to be a standalone game is awesome. I can't wait to see what is included in part 2.

The fact their a chance we will be seeing the skaven is already making me excited to see what they show.
Ohmygodohmygodlizardmenlizardmenlizardmen. Is it really, finally happening? If so, insta-freaking-buy!
bleh I'd prefer they go back to historical settings
I could probably get on board with a 40k entry. TW: Warhammer 1 made me realise I don't find non-40k Warhammer very interesting
wait is this Warhammer: Total War 2, or Warhammer: Total War Part 2 (like DLC)?
Whatever, don't care...I mean, I DO CARE! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Played THE CRAP out of this game for like a month straight like four hours a day (that's a lot for me lol) , looking for some new life into the game, bought the DLC looking forward to this.
I wouldn't call this a sequel, waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too early, and they don't usually do back-to-back sequels, they usually throw some diversity in there before returning to familiar grounds.

It's Total War: Warhammer 2, second game in a trilogy, as in a new fully featured release with the focus on The New World.
Having said that, CA have stated that the plan is for all three games to join into a single massive game spanning the entire Warhammer Fantasy world. How they'll do that, I have no idea.

Sweet! Interesting marketing strategy, not sure if I am totally sold on the idea, but if each installment is as fully featured as the first one, I am cool with it.
Though the DLC was a bit excessive, I must admit. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuut there was also a lot of free DLC, so I really can't complain that much lol. Still it'd be nice if Wood Elves and Beastmen were included.
Maybe they can make sieges fun this time? Have some variety on both large/small cities? I hate that small cities are a field fight, and that every large city is the same map. It really sucked a lot of fun out of the game. Also...destructible walls/buildings.
Total War: Warhammer II! Here's the announcement trailer:
High Elves! Dark Elves! LIZARDMEN!!!!!! Finally, it's happening! Woohoohoo!!! Lizard-men! Lizard-men! Lizard-men! I can't wait.
And is that a Skaven hint at the end? Oh, I want this now.
was not previous game just release last year? is total war really becoming a yearly iteration???!
It most likely not coming this year but next year

yea and it hasn't even been released a year yet but this is technically a expansion
They should just call it a standalone expansion, but I guess they just want to milk us more. However, I dont mind this expansion as longest we can combine it with the vanilla game. I really want to invade the empire as skavens.
