Total War: Three Kingdoms has been delay from March! (But not too far off)

From PC Gamer with Three Kingdoms it has been delay from March 7th to May 23 and it's a bummer too. I was so ready for it but in another way, I'm all up for delays to make the game not much of a buggy mess. And as always, a delay game is a good game. (Or so they say)

Probably for the best.

If they need more time to polish that's fine in my opinion.

I got hundreds of hours out of Warhammer 1/2: Total War, hundreds of hours out of Total War Rome 2, Shogun 2, Empire....you get the idea. These games are incredible values (even with the DLC scams haha) with amazing gameplay. They are as close to perfect and complete as a game can be. I can wait another month.

All I can say is good call. TW always came out at the end of Q1, likely to meet the revenue target for Sega as a whole. And the series has seen quite a few rushed products maybe because of this. This delay means that now CA can miss that March deadline and take more time to catch bugs and balance out the gameplay.

This is going to be one of the best games of 2019, and for sure the best strategy.

My dream already came true. I still would love to see Redwall TW, Medieval to Early Colonial India, or Medieval Middle East.

Knights of Light - Historical action RPG set in 7th century Middle East. Might be up your alley.

Had a failed Kickstarter sadly. The Witcher franchise is also cited as a big influence on the game.

Now this is an interesting time period that I don't think is explored enough.

From what I’ve seen so far it looks like an incredibly ambitious title. The game design lead was one of the contributors in the first game of the Assassin’s Creed franchise. Combat is clearly still rough but the game itself looks good and has an interesting period and setting to cover.
