Wow, Last of Us is number one again! I liked the game, but it seems like it has a special place in people's hearts. The hype for Last of Us 2 must be insane. The original came out 7 years ago! Can you believe it? Well anyway.. your thoughts on this list, SW? Is this a fair poll? I would think so, I mean all kinds of people go on metacritic. But let me know your thoughts! I'm also surprised to see Bloodborne on there..

BOTW is in the right spot, the rest are up there because of how popular PS is right now.

You didn't address the first part of his question. When it takes actual skill you're nowhere to be seen. You play casual single player fps. So who are you to talk like you were some hardcore pro-gamer?

Yes and how are they not? These are easy as hell single player fps that take no skill. You keep hating on From Soft games all you want but the bottom line is they're too hard for you. You act all high and mighty when all you play are a bunch of walk-in-the-park shooting games that take no ability to beat.

there is a different between hard and broken games. from software games are broken with KB/M.

STALKER as i know is regarded as one of the most challenging FPS ever made. and deepest FPS too.

Excuses now. I beat the Souls games on PC just fine with KB/M.

Also I don't give a damn about STALKER being one of the most challenging single players games ever. It's a single player FPS. These are easy as hell. You have no credibility. You refuse to play online because you know you'll get murked when actual skill is involved so you resort to "hur hur, multiplayer sucks".

That was until learning he beat Resident Evil 2 with 50+ saves on normal while complaining it was "too short".

The list is accurate. Though I'm shock Mass Effect 2 is up their then Mass Effect 3. TLOU is still an awesome game and played it 6 times already. Hopefully TLOU2 surpass it's predecessor.

Anyway, It's a good list, but I'd throw RDR2 as far off it as I could. Couldn't even get excited enough to even play it.

I used to like street fighter 2 when i was kid. other than fighting games have always sucked.

and yes i played almost every popular fighters from street fighter to mortal kombat to king of fighters to tekken etc. they are only fun if you are playing with your friend. otherwise they suck.

You don’t have friends tho, cut it out. Casuals can’t grasp fighting games, sniper n soccer moms=same energy. Except the soccer mom has sex.

SF2 was best SF game. infact it revived arcade machines in 90s when they died although i hate going to arcades always so i played it on genesis.

every other game add some power system or useless characters. the old SF2 roster is all that matters with final 4 bosses.

speaking of casuals. SF5 is so casual and easy in story mode that it feel like practice mode.

Not gonna comment on TLOU which is a moot to some gamers, but have you played Bloodborne? When I first started playing Bloodborne, I thought "wow, this is a cool Gothic city and you could say I like anything with Gothic involve. The faster pace and lack of shields (so creating enemies with that in mind) along with the level design, the atmosphere, and trick weapon mechanic is why Bloodborne gets so many praises, it's no wonder why it's listed top 10 decades by metacritic users.

Bloodborne should have been number 1, TLOU should have been in 7. The only thing holding Bloodborne back is the Framerate is poor pacing. It's a problem, I was expecting the Pro patch to at least fix it. All I can hope for now is the PS5 60fps Remastered version and if such a thing were to happen, I might, just might....buy PS5 just for Bloodborne and to me, it's the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the PS4 that kind of game. Go play it hrt_rulz01.

I'm not criticising the game itself, but there have been a lot amazing games over the decade. I mean Portal 2 didn't even make the list... I mean come on.

As for my game of the decade, I honestly don't know. It'd be a toss up between Mario Odyssey, Portal 2, Inside, Mario Galaxy 2... off the top of my head.

Well no shit bro. When it comes to FGs, the single player content is either pitting you against a pushover brain dead opponent, or an annoying, input reading, yet still brain dead opponent. For extra "challenge", your opponent might not even abide by the rules of the game, like many bosses in FGs.

Kinda champs point here tho, you're not willing to make that deep dive into competitive play because you're not up for getting rekt in the learning process.

As an aside, bet you probably couldn't clear survival or arcade modes on harder difficulties in SFV.

All opinions of course, but Bloodborne is a legit pick. Would it be in my top 10 for the decade? Probably not, but it would be one of the games I'd consider.

Still, of the games you listed, the only one I would pick over Bloodborne would be SMG2. That's one of the few games that I'd actually call a straight up masterpiece.

Edit: The list in the OP? Meh. BotW, Darksouls, and Bloodborne are solid enough. Some of the others are straight up embarrassing.

@ConanTheStoner: I didn't expect TLOU to be on that list. It's good but I wouldn't go that far saying it's my top 10 decade either. I agree with above saying that Portal 2 should have been up their as well, but I guess puzzle games aren't for everyone.
