I am calling it now. Naughty Dog has been pushing hard with pro SJW values. I predict the segments playing as Joel or Ellie will be incredibly short and all the footage shown is from the start of the game.

Ellie will most likely die early on at the hands of Joel(who you also control briefly). Then you play as the black female who gets revenge on Joel for the rest of the game.

They will swerve us and the main character will be Ellie’s lover in that one trailer. I forget her name and I am not googling it lol.

It fits well for what Naughty Dog wants to push as a company. The main star being a strong gay black woman.

I personally have no issue with who the main character is.

This would allow the player to experience multiple feels and loss.

No, I think the SJW writer cares more about his lesbian statement than racial minorities, so the story will be about Ellie. I mean, he started that first trailer with a lesbian kiss, which never happens for heterosexual characters in trailers, which tells you how hard he is trying to push that.

I like the movie Bound by the Wachowskis. It's a noir thriller about two lesbian lovers who try to rip off the one's mobster boyfriend. They happen to be lesbians, but the movie doesn't feel like it's pushing any agenda, because they remembered to make it fun and the lesbian relationship ties well into the plot. I don't have a problem with homosexuality. It's just embarrassing when someone like Druckmann insists you care about such subjects, opening his trailer with it, like it's the most important thing in a zombie apocalypse.

I like Once Upon A Time In The West, it has cool music and I like the part when Charlie Bronson subtly gives a smile in the final showdown, really glad it was him and not Clint Eastwood again.

No lesbians anywhere, but still really good.

• No light/sound meter using a Dead Space minimalist UI of "on/off" which is terrible for Splinter Cell
• JBA missions with forced cinematic walking
• Gadgets are unlocked through JBA missions and some basically remove gameplay like lockpicking (not optional)
• Large open levels (which sounds good, but it isn't)
• Scripted "press X here" moments in a bad attempt to amp the game up and trite attempts at decision making
• Many missions take place during the day

It's not completely bad, Shanhai is a really, really good level and compared to "Conviction", it is at least a Spinter Cell game. The weakest one, but still but part of that DNA and not just an action game with the name thrown on it.

The Xbox/GC/PS2 version is superior, almost as good as Chaos Theory. Final level is boss and has the single best Sam Fisher moment in the series.

Compare that manual, integrated into the gameplay stuff with those shitty out of place "you most choooose" in the next-gen version.

Again, it's not wholly terrible. Just the worst in the main series. Conviction isn't a Splinter Cell game.

That would never happen, which is the point. They would never open a survival horror trailer with a straight kiss, because it isn't that important when you consider what else is going on in that world. Plenty of other ways to contrast that with tenderness. Druckmann is making a big deal about this when it could have just been like whatever. It's embarrassing. Again, if they showed Joel moving on and settling down and trying to be happy then cut to him slaughtering an enemy, bathed in his blood, no one would have batted an eye.
