The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 Dominates Best Sellers Charts on Every Single Amazon Store

The Last of Us Remastered for PS4 just launched to critical acclaim, currently sitting at the top of the Metacritic averages for 2014, but what about sales?

If Amazon is any indication, those seem to be rather stellar as well.

Now that the game has been released in Europe as well (one hour ago, to be precise), it has skyrocketed to the top of the best sellers charts of every single Amazon store where it’s currently available (In Japan it won’t launch until August 21st).

As you can see below, Joel and Ellie stand at the very top everywhere, and considering how different the markets of the nations involved are (in fact the rest of the charts shows a lot of variations different regions), that’s definitely quite a feat.

This kind of total domination is rare even for a big AAA game, let alone a remaster of a title that has already been released before on another console.

The pressure to play something on one of these tablet powered monsters is harsh. Even if you have played it once.

And it wasn't a full $60 release. It was $50..with gamestop offering a trade in value of the ps3 version if you buy the ps4 version of $25.... half off. I got mine for $25 and wasn't going to buy it, but then i heard about the deal. Glad I did as the remaster is amazing!! (and I never bought the DLC) ... It was sold out in 5 of the closest gamestops here in Philadelphia nw-burbs. I had to search it out and got one of the last copies avaialbe on release day. Not surprised it's selling so good, it's an amazing game!! And more proof that a lot of 360 gamers jumped ship!

On a side note, why are cynical brits so xbox loving? Destiny Xbone beating out ps4 xbone...why? That's just weird.

I paid $49.99 PS3 on Amazon thank you very much. I will not pay more than that for any new game. I'll wait.

I might pick up TLOU at 19.99 for the PS4. If I have an itch.

I traded in my TLOU for 33 dollars on Amazon 3 weeks after the game shipped.

Next time they are giving away free copies of PS3 games let me know bro.

Playstation exclusive dominating and there is still crap reasons given to downplay it.

When the Halo Collection comes out and it sells like crazy....I'm not gonna be like "Come on theres nothing to play" or "I don't believe Amazon".....I'll just say..."I could have guessed that." and be on my way.
