Titanfall can go either way at this point, I might find more interest in it if the full game has much more varied maps and titans, weapons. Right now there's just too little options for me to take it seriously.

I have no interest in Titancod what so ever and is going to be held back from being a cross gen game. Infamous SS will be a true this Gen game, but I have no idea why the TC thought to compare these 2 games they're completely different. ?
Downloading TITANFALL BETA right now. I'm hearing it's pretty lameskies with all the bots and the titans are weak
The bots are a little weird, like it's hard to distinguish who is real or not until you see a name or they're dead. Titans are weak if you suck in them, a good Titan pilot (Which I am not) can make their titan last a long time.
But when you play you'll realise it's good they don't last long, it's stops them being overpowering. It's really fun I think
That's what I heard. They go down easily by anti mech weapons. I suppose it's for the best
I've been rather impressed with the beta, so far. I found the bots add a lot of action to the normal empty parts of multiplayer games -- those points where you're running around and can't find anyone. The game's really well balanced.

I doubt it. From what I've been hearing it's a really fun game but it's not the FPS messiah the press and fanboys are hoping for it to be. I'll be getting it when the price drops on PC but I can't justify paying full price for it considering it has no campaign.
@I_can_haz: Yeah, it's not some big revelation, it's just essentially evolving the Call of Duty in ways it should have been doing when it wasn't taboo to like the series. It's a great deal of fun, and it pretty much makes COD completely obsolete.

I'll be getting it on Xbox One as it looks and plays great. I can see me playing it a lot this year. I think Infamous will be like Ryse but with better gameplay. Play it, love it, forget it in a week.

to be honest Titanfall is teetering in the middle ready to drop into either basket. Kinda silently waiting some meltdowns for when people cut through the hype clouds to realise what Titanfall truly is.

Everyone I know who played titanfall beta said that it was enjoyable but nothing ground breaking and similar to other shooters in the last 5 years
I was going to get both on release day but now after Titanfall Beta I am not so sure. I will be busy with Titanfall for a while (the Beta is insanely fun and addicting). I will probably put off Infamous until it is under $40.
@KBFloYd: That is true but there is more to graphics than just HD resolutions. Light shafts, denser shadows, active shadows, anti-aliasing, textures. All make a game look smooth and crisp and have nothing at all to do with resolutions.
The good news is all of that sort of thing tends to take a long time to implement for any given game since it is unique to that game. Which means developers will make the game for the weaker console. The Xbox One. Then they will port it onto PS4 pretty much directly which means at that point the games will be identical in EVERY way shape and form, even resolution. And then at the last minute they will bump the resolution on PS4 as high as it will go which right now is approximately 1080p. Most people don't have TVs capable of more than 1080p so not really any point going over it is there?
As far as that goes all games will look identical, unless you play both games on both consoles one after the other or play them directly next to one another, hardly anyone will notice.
I know I won't be getting both consoles any time soon (if at all). And I sure wouldn't buy one game twice. Just burning money. £1000 for two consoles when one of them will only be used for exclusives is a waste of money. I like games but there is a limit to what I want to spend to get it.

MechAssault 2 was titanfall ten years ago,
id would've preferred if Microsoft let rare continue making perfect dark core,
which had elements of mirrors edge and titanfall before either exisited.
Infamous Secons Son for me.. i want a game that has a story, a game that is fully well made that is worth $60 and knowing infamous it will require two playthroughs to fully finish the game which is what i love about the franchise.
I was very excited for titanfall at first but after the videos, the news and everything shown about the game it now looks nothing but a half made Call of Duty: titans edition, its almost like a copy and paste of CoD from the loading screens to picking up classes to even reloading the guns, to its fast pace shooting and others so i'll buy it for $15 or less for my 360 later down the road.
So instead of playing the game yourself, like you were planning to, you just copy the opinion of other people on the internet ?
So CoD black ops is the best game every? selling soo much in 1 console not even being exclusive. We should all take our panties off and toss it at it, and live playing it.
