As long as I can so get retail copies of the games and not stuck with a monthly subscription then I'm fine with this.

Remove PS3 BC to sell a service to play PS3 games.

Weak.

The ignorance in this post is disappointing.

No it's because this level is underwater that is why he is moving so slow.

How does that explain the input lag. It's not about how fast he's moving, it's an issue of the time between moving the thumb stick and the character actually moving

So gamers will have to PAY AGAIN to play the games they already own? Is that what Sony is telling us? Will this feature mean all the PS1, PS2 & PS3 games released on Playstation Now are non-exclusive? I think the biggest question is what kind of price structure will they have. Will we be able to play the games we already own for free. Can we insert a PS3 or PS2 disc into our PS4 and Playstation Now will recognize that we already own the game and can freely stream the game from Playstation Now and play. it? Is this service US only? What about Europe, Australia, Japan, UK, etc...? Those are the questions we want answered Sony. The lag is pretty bad. No fighting or FPS games will play well on this with that lag.

You're not entitled to anything either than your PS3 games working with your PS3. As an adult you should understand good-things don't necessarily come free.

So, input lag, and you ahve to rebuy all the games you previously owned? ... so starting from scratch. Not true backwards compatibility but rather a way to resell teh games you already bought. gerdjerb.

So, input lag.

A. The service is in it's infancy.

B. This has not been confirmed.

so starting from scratch.

C. False Assumption.

Not true backwards compatibility

Definition: "In telecommunications and computing, a product or technology is backward or downward compatible if it can work with input generated by an older product or technology. ..."

D. By definition, it is.

Guess this will turn into company wars, although for many it already was. PS now will be available on non Sony devices, so those games will no longer be exclusive. Its a potentially strong revenue for Sony.

I was thinking the same thing. It's all going to come down to price and how well the service works in the game. How many of the PS3, PS2 & PS1 games will be on the service? That's important as well. Will it only be Sony's 1st party games? How many 3rd party companies will agree to put their games on this service? A lot of big questions for Sony to answer before it's released.

I figure many companies will agree to this kind of service as it's more exposure to their games. Sony sees that EA and Activision make crazy money broadening their audience, so why not try to do the same. Get the games out to as many different people potentially. I hope it works well for them, they need the money.

Is that even present in the current/release version of BF4. It was just showing that there was input lag from the local server, hopefully it will get better upon release

I don't think it makes sense to show accurate input lag in slow-motion. 95% of the games I like won't be hindered by a half second of input lag anyway.
