Things I learned from Mw2 about war

1. you can kill someone with knife while dashing through a clip of bullets to kill them.

2. you can leap 20 feet with a knife to kill someone.

3. you dont die from getting hit in the side with a 50 cal snipe.

4. falling off tall buildings doesnt break your legs

5. you can win a shotgun battle with a pistol

6. when teabagging dead bodys they still moan that you killed them

7. always have a throwing knife instead of an gernade cuz they can rebound off a building and still kill the enemy.

8. always have auto aim irl

9. when chickens are in their cages they are indestructible

10. akimbo shotguns have the range of an assualt rifle

They did not try to be realistic, it is more like an arcade shooter. No way in hell that you can call in a nuke and it detonates in under a minute.

I have to agree with all of it. Thats whyI play Battlefield: Bad Company 2 these days. Oh yea, in MW2, don't for get about the impossible to manuever around helicopters and planes in the sky!

You can survive a missile onslaught as long as you're friendly.

Nuclear weapons are ultilized all the time, with no side effects. Radiation never affects the area it's used in, and they are often dropped in zones containing friendly troops.

And, and the U.S. is still at war with Russia. :P

It also taught me that George Bush pronounced "nucular" incorrectly. :P

BC2 isn't perfect neither (speaking from my own experience on the PC version), you can lunge from the ground and kill someone on the roof of a one story building with a knife.

You can survive a missile strike as long as there is a barrel in between you and the explosion

I learned that when a developer makes a multiplayer with flaws, people will forever hate it like it killed their first born child, instead of moving on to a multiplayer they like and letting it go :P. I also learned that games not designed to be realistic shooters are unrealistic :o.

I learned that You can die three times and come back with extra health. Absoultly stunning if you ask me.

I also learned that you can shoot someone in the heart with a supressed sniper and not kill them. Isnt war lovely?

To be honest, I never really play online. I prefer to use the editor to make myself a few quick scenarios (so much fun). From what I've heard, the online is pretty active, but if you want in on the real action you join a clan. Overall, it's a great game though, worth the money for the offline alone.

Knowing this makes me want to play the game even less... and I didn't even want to play it in the first place.

If you lie on the ground, with a plastic riot shield on your back, you are immune to 30mm chain cannon fire from an apache.

I hope this isn't a serious thread about complaints about Modern Warfare 2 because in no way was Infinity Ward trying to simulate war, THIS IS A GAME!
