Don't know about media bias. I know about my own tastes. How Last Guardian can be one of the top games in any year blows my mind. The game has heart but technically is bad.

Not sure why Death Stranding is on the list. Mostly just Kojima fanboys hyping it. Most enthusiasts saw right through the bullshit.

Of the released games I loved them all Except Death Stranding( never played it). So I guess that's why I'm mostly a Playstation fan. I just love their games.

That’s great and all and many of those games look great indeed and ones that I’d love as well. However I’ve played MANY fantastic games that I have loved that fared both better and worse critically this gen. There’s no way that the opinion of others on all these various games would bother me and/or take away any of my enjoyment from the games that I have played.

So not only do we get incredible first party games, we also get the incredible third party. It's good to remember we get gold from all sides.

These PS "exclusives" have been and will continue to be free AND best played on YouTube. I would say keep your chin up, but it would be hard to have your chin up when you have a mouthful of Sony LOL.

Like the overwhelming success of CoD? Thanks for proving his point and yes, we can play your precious exclusives* if we want to. We just chose not to. Oh and the combined success of ps exclusives can't come anywhere near the success of a single exclusive from many of PC's successful exclusives.

The only upset people are cows and have been since PS3 that they have to create the false narrative of superior first party devs/games.

There's only one game on that list I remotely care about and it's coming to PC so. Even then I might not bother. Too much on the backlog already.

last of us, uncharted, God of war and now ghost of tushima are nothing more than glorified hollywood movies that attract more to non gamers rather than hardcore gamers.

god of war and ghost has over 30 hours of game play but are hollywood movies ok try again. you think halo will have 30 hour campaign of gameplay? i guess hellblade 2 has no chance on xbox console because it will be a movie game.

Hellblade is xbox equivalent of movie game ie waste of time.

Halo atleast it played, unlike last of us or other crap. it doesnot matter if it has 30 or 50 hour of gameplay, if its just scripted QTE fest, cinematic and cutscene interrupt over and over again. than its a movie game.

I’m getting to the point where I don’t wanna play games with cutscenes in them. They are a colossal waste of my time, and Sony and their 1st party are the biggest offenders. The only game in OP’s list that interests me is Bloodborne. TLOU 2 will probably have 6-8 hours of cutscenes in it. No thanks. Death Stranding had a goddamn 2 hour movie at the end and over 7 hours of cutscenes total. I don’t understand how people enjoy “playing” that.

Watching this gameplay footage. entire game looks like scripted on rail walking in straight line also a more violent version Tomb raider. the fighting animation are so incredibly scripted like it took control from you all the time.

That list is why I don’t buy playstations. Bunch of movie games or hack’n’slash borefests.
