Na! I have to say the original NES with the Power Pad. Playing Track and Field or any of those running games, wow! you got one hell of a workout. far more then waving your arms around like a mad man. Not to mention the Wii mote is just an more advanced Power Glove in my eyes, push buttons and wave your hand. They also had ROB the robot, NES had lots of weird and cool accessories.
I like the Wii a lot, but I don't think it's the most innovative console. That would lie with one of the consoles of the early years that brought us video gaming, or the NEW which really brought things into mainstream quality.
[QUOTE="CreepyBacon"]Really? How come? its biggest effect thus far has been convincing MS and Sony that they need their own motion controlsIt's just a shame innovation isn't always good. Case in point; The Wii.

I really don't really like Nintendo and 3D gaming. Dunno why. I didn't even like SM64 and I played it when it came out. Ocarina of Time was just okay. I did really like Twilight Princess and SMG. So I guess Nintendo finally figured 3D gaming out.

How did the N64 revolutionize anything? or the SNES for that matter.... NES and Wii yes... but the other 2 ... no, I would say the PS1 did alot more for the industry than the N64 did.
N64 - first analog stick and rumble. Pioneered 3D game techniques (camera control, lock-on etc).
SNES - amazing sound for its time, invented L and R trigger buttons, Mode 7 etc.
