If it keeps selling like it is 3rd parties are going to be dying to make games on it. Low developments costs due to the less powerful hardware and a massive install base would be any 3rd party developers wet dream.

I'd rather get more games tailored for the WIi. None of the ones you said are, and that's ok. Wii will get games that PS3/360 won't. It just is the cycle of life in gaming.

I already played for PC, id didn't enjoyed. If i was going to mindless grind or do repetitive quest i rather do it at WoW at that time.

Must suck to be a cow taking my 360's sloppy seconds when they are inferior, delayed, and come on a more expensive system :roll:

Wii does what it does, 360 does what it does, PS3 is the only system that hasn't established an Identity yet. But as to your topic that's the life of a Nintendo console. You sacrifice 3rd party for the best 1st party.

The Wii might get both. At this point it's too early to tell who will sell the most units and thus get the most 3rd party support. So far the Wii is doing better than anyone expected.

There are a lot of new franchises like Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, and others on that list. Those are new IPs with as much chance as failure as the new IPs coming to Wii. Sure you have them backed by some great publishers/devs, but so what? AC could fall flat and be nothing but a PoP clone, and Ubisoft's not showing anything great in the last few released titles. So who knows, personally I don't know about this title yet. Ubisoft shows me just a "next-gen" PoP really. Fine and all, but nothing for me to get excited for.

Maybe, maybe not, but expect to see allot more 3rd party games on the Wii this year. With the low development coasts, and the massive popularity the Wii is having, developers will flock to it. Well just have to see in the end what it looks like. But keep in mind that at the Wii's price, you could easily buy a 360 or another console to play those games.

Nintendo makes $$. If it gets great 3rd party support it will make $$. If they do not get great 3rd party support they will make $$. See the pattern here?

Nintendo makes the most $$ of the big 3 in video games. This is because they can live on the fact that (OMG) they make all there oun hits! I love that about nintendo you can join em, but ya really cannot beat em.

If I was a 3rd party i would not wanna have to compete with 1st party nintendo stuff either to be honest. (that why i'm glad I own all 3)

Let the DS serve as a lesson. Nintendo has proven that people don't want the same games on every system. Only with the Wii can you get the NEW experiences of gaming. Sony and MS are all "been there, done that."

yes and no. Even if Nintendo lost EVERY 3rd party developer. They could still succeed by "going it alone" with their EAD stuff as the only software. Every Wii system and accessory is sold at a profit, Wii development costs were negligible. Wii already is a profit/success even if it was canceled today (fat chance of that.) Actually, "going it alone" wouldn't even hurt sales much at all. Party/mini games and Nintendo franchises (Metroid, Mario, Adv Wars, etc) will always sell on Wii and can easily be done in house. Sony and Microsoft NEED 3rd parties to succeed, Nintendo doesn't. Nintendo played their cards this generation brilliantly.

That was why the GC and the N64 lost to the PSX,  PS2 and Xbox im not saying the Wii wont get more but if it doesnt that will be the reason they lose they need 3rd party support it seems if the Wii sells more and keeps on going like it is the Wii will be a success.

That was why the GC and the N64 lost to the PSX, PS2 and Xbox im not saying the Wii wont get more but if it doesnt that will be the reason they lose they need 3rd party support it seems if the Wii sells more and keeps on going like it is the Wii will be a success.

What I meant was, if for example Sony loses say EA, Konami, and the rest of Square/Enix, PS3 will fail. It will never sell enough units to turn a profit. Wii was profitable from day 1. Nintendo doesn't need 3rd parties or be #1 or #2 in sales to succeed/profit. Sony and MS definetly do however. Also, in the time of the N64, Nintendo's company wasn't in the position it is in now (although by the GC it was close.) I doubt Nintendo will ever again release a system that hinges on another company's game support to succeed.
