The Game streaming/digital download war has commenced. It will take 10 years but Google will eventually buy up all these competing digital storefronts. Sort of like Disney buying up 21th Century Fox for streaming movies (the whole corporation)

So it will eventually be the same for the game digital war. Only so many digital store fronts and streaming services can exist. Google will survive the up coming digital games crash and use ecnomonic brute force to win.

Gen 9 started with the Switch.

Pretty much the future of gaming.

Xbox has the headstart in that department, but can fall behind anytime if they get arrogant again

These streaming services are nothing but parasitism on gaming. They are essentially going to make you pay monthly to play games, new and old, that they had no hand in developing. Get ready for more empty, no content releases like Sea of Thieves being the norm. VG "journalists" will be paid of to sing praises for these subscription services.

@Vatusus: People said this about Netflix and Spotify too. Look how that turned out. You’ll soon have way more gaming options and be paying a fraction of what you pay now. You’ll be on board. Just wait.

"People" arent me. I dont use Netflix and I dont use Spotify. As I've said, I'll keep being stuck in the past. Any problem with that?
