Isn't this game set in Seattle? Why does no one ever post a shot when it's raining? I see shots with water on the ground, but no one has had one where it's raining. Wasn't it supposed to have some interesting puddle formation effect or something?

I love making cool characters in games, but I have like no screenshots of any of them. Except selfies of my OP GW2 mesmer.

And a vague one of my SR4 character who is a complete Boss.

This thread makes me consider taking screenshots consciously. I've never really got into that, but there have been so many beautiful moments that I should have screenshotted now that I think about it...
So from now on I'm screenshotting stuff left and right.

Oh and definitely the 'pro' pilot in BF2 who immediately exploded with half my team in his helicopter.

i get this same frame hate on 1080p with my 400 dollar pc, its a source engine game and it looks like a 2006's game

No you don't. You need a video card with 3GB of ram to run insane textures. And judging by the overall cost of your machine you don't have one. And with "high" textures you need a GTX 760 or a r9 270x to hit a close to steady 60fps at 1080p. And once again if your rig is $400, you don't have either of those. Nice try though.

Thats strange, Benchmarks with a 7870 and a much better CPU only gets 42 fps. And in that youtube video the only time you were above 50fps in BF4 was when you were in menus. Even adding the 10fps you spent most of your time sub 50. I'm not knocking your rig or anything, just your claims that a $400 PC can max games at 1080p/60fps. Your evidence even proves otherwise.

It's not about software. You can't play much games with that super-powered PC without Windows(lol linux,lol steam-os)

That's because they're using MSAA 4X. Just turn it down a bit and you can very easily achieve 60fps in Titanfall with a 7870.I know as I was able to as well. Although personally I prefer to simply use an SMAA injector and combine it with the in-game AA. MSAA can be somewhat shitty at times.

@GoldenElementXL: i get average 40 when recording and 50 while not recording in bf4, but that was without mantle, now i get those same fps with all ultra + fxaa

Yeah AA is killer. Well if you are running Titanfall 55-60 then I stand corrected.

So I installed Pirates! on my new retina mac, and it is definitely the definitive version.

Whereas the inferior PC version is merely a game, the mac version maps the control keys to the area of my laptop that gets the hottest. So you have to balance your desire to interact with the game with your desire to have fingers that aren't burnt. Also, it doubles as a heater, which is especially great in summer.

Also, macs are not the greatest at heat dissipation...yay thigh burns

I actually had to dial that run back quite a bit.
I will be upgrading the CPU, Motherboard and adding GPU's at a later date.

What a waste of money, you could of had 3x 6Gb 780 TI's for the same money.

Yeah, but they are still going through with 6gb 780s, which are pretty much just as good as 780tis (any differences can probably be overcome with overclocking): Newegg Amazon has ten left here

What coolers do those have? I'm looking to replace my 780Ti with two of those Titan Blacks.
