Good news, it's Christmas and that means it's time to consume. Most of you don't believe in Jesus, fake Christmas fans, but that's ok. I knew he moved the boulder the stuff.
Please tell us what crap you bought, if anything.

I do believe in Jesus. Don't celebrate Christmas, as it has nothing to do with Jesus.
On topic. I'm probably, finally, going to pick up Elden Ring. Heard it's nifty. Also getting Kena: Bridge of Spirits.
I can't believe I'm saying this but I've cut into my backlog this year. I've been going through my steam library and only playing games that are new to me... The backlog is shrinking!
Time to beef it up again.
Yea, don't let it go below the threshold.
Probably some indie strategy or sim that i will play a ton while working for a few days/weeks and then move on to something else.
Never understood the appeal of people buying a bunch of random garbage just because its on sale, and then never even try the game you purchased. That's why i never have any backlogs. I only buy what i want to play NOW, not in 5 years.
Mass effect trilogy on sale for 5 bucks a piece? Man, that's a hard yes.
Thinking I'll be spending some dough this winter sale. Yikes!
Welp. You just made my gaming bill go up. Thanks.
Still building my shopping cart. Definitely Grounded and Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Now it's about what I top that up with; Stray, Kena or something else?

Played both of those games and I enjoy them for what they bring to the gamer.
Not much to go on but here's what I've got:
Might go ahead and purchase Halo: Infinite campaign on Steam but we'll see if I don't see anything else.
I'm going even further, buy games I've already played! Yeah, see Doom Eternal is only 10 bucks, might grab it.
Gonna get the new lego star wars DLC pack its 50% off and maybe see if i can afford elden ring was 30% off
I just bought Gloomhaven only to not play it. Didn't realize it was so heavily based on card play. I can handle some cards but jesus those are so convoluted rules in there.
Crysis Remastered Trilogy is only $22.25 and its been a long time since I played original trilogy so why not?
No Straight Roads: Encore edition, I saw this game a year ago but forgot about it and didn't know it released already. I'm going to get that I really like the music and art style it gives me early to mid 2000s cartoon vibes.
Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak, since I'm almost done with the village quest for the main game.
Maybe get GTFO too since I see some of my friends playing it.
I am buying my games on Epic Store nowadays since they have same prices plus additional 20% discount. I bought there
Dying Light 2
Far Cry 6
Joe and Mac Caveman Ninja remake
Source of Madness
Hades
Far Cry New Dawn
I think in total i paid 90USD for all of them.
Meh... nothing caught my eye
I'm waiting for deep DEEEEEEP sales on Gears 5, Lust From Beyond, Visage or Ghostrunner but they're still higher then I expected so I'll probably wont buy anything this year. Will unlock the trading cards to sell and make some $ with them for later on though

I'm the same way for the most part but if the game cost $70 bucks they can kick rocks and I'll wait for a sale from those greedy bastards.

I also bought RTX 4090 this Christmas since it's massively back in stock here in Canada on Computers Canada website.
GIGABYTE GeForce RTX 4090 GAMING OC 24GGraphics Card, 3x WINDFORCE Fans at 1650USD or 2,541.37 CAD tax included. Pretty nice.
I bought nearly 30 games during the black Friday sale. I now have over 200 games on my Steam backlog smh.
Can't say no to $60 games that go on sale for $5 for a few days unfortunately.

Since i resell (on consoles obviously. On pc i get everything from cdkeys, and its way cheaper than $70usd) all my games, so the $70 day one is not a problem when i can resell it for at least $50 when i am done with the game.

What $60 game was sold for $5? There is no way this is happening. What you will see is a year plus old title that they increase the price, to then lower it to give you an impression of a massive discount. This is some Aliexpress tactics lmao.

I enjoyed Kena it was short though. Stray I found to be really boring but some people on here seemed to like it. Grounded was quite good though, much bigger and harder than you expect.
I bought Soul Calibur 6, I’m not actually planning to touch this game at all until I game until I can finally buy a Steam Deck to play it on. Cant believe it’s been over nine months since launch and it still hasn’t released here in Australia. Nine months is too long, I mean that’s a whole pregnancy term. If you made love to somebody around the same time the Steam Deck was released in the US, the baby would have been born by now. And yet it’s taking longer for Valve to release the Steam Deck here in Australia.
Tempted pick up.

Thought oh yeah I should grab that.
Already in library lol
I bought F.E.A.R. 1 from GOG for only 2 Dollars. I still have the CD's and box of the game but might as well get it again from GOG since CD drives are dead now on modern computers.
Nice I did the same thing years ago still have the OG CD's and case the nice thing with the digital version is you get both expansion packs with it which I never played until 2013.

Do you still play vanilla FEAR or do you use certain visual mods like texture mods?

I play vanilla but I believe there's a AI upscaled texture mod I might of used it in the past.
Nothing. First off, I have games I bought when I was younger on PSN that I never actually downloaded. Secondly, though there are good games on sale, I can't really afford to put games above other priorities. And lastly but certainly not least, buying another game would mean something I'm playing right now would fall yet again on the backburner.
@ConanTheStoner: Yea, think it was Maradox brought it up. Usually when Steam has "overwhelmingly bla bla" pay more attention to it than reviews.
Saw this as well, don't recall it ever being brought up on the forum.

Not big on Metroidvania games but looks pretty cool.
Well, you can't get Virt-a-Mate anymore. Gabe took it down because people were using it to render kids, apparently.
See Gotham Knight is already at 50% off.
Although surprised by the lack of DLC, when announced "GaaS" expecting barrage. Basically a pyramid scheme.

Yeah I didn't play the two expansion packs ether until 2015. I got them for free from someone.
What did you think about them? I liked the first expansion F.E.A.R. Extraction Point a lot. The new levels, weapons, and enemies are great. Also I found it way more scarier than the base game.
The second expansion F.E.A.R. Perseus Mandate was disappointing for me. It wasn't the worst thing ever made, there was some enjoyment with it but compared to the base game and Extraction Point, it doesn't even come close to them. Still better than F.E.A.R. 2 and 3 though lol.
