There was much distress. Xbox needed all the good news it could get, and losing this IP that hasn't really been nearly as relevant since the 80s was a yet another massive blow to the MS camp. It was like Dr. Claw reached in and crushed their hearts himself.

The anger, pain, and sadness would be relieved for now. Publisher Microids made this alpha move to singlehandedly save the Xbox brand based on the threats and rage enthusiastic response from the Xbox fandom. Go go Gadget game thirst! Congrats!
