There was much distress. Xbox needed all the good news it could get, and losing this IP that hasn't really been nearly as relevant since the 80s was a yet another massive blow to the MS camp. It was like Dr. Claw reached in and crushed their hearts himself.

But alas! The tide turned.

The anger, pain, and sadness would be relieved for now. Publisher Microids made this alpha move to singlehandedly save the Xbox brand based on the threats and rage enthusiastic response from the Xbox fandom. Go go Gadget game thirst! Congrats!

Cool. People wanted an Xbox version of this game and the devs will deliver it to them. Sounds like good news to me. 🤷‍♂️

Pedro without a doubt wrote some sternly worded emails to the devs so he can add to his collection of shitty games he likes to play.

The dev has been fighting with Xbox gamers on Twitter all day. If/when this game performs poorly on Xbox vs the other platforms, I’m sure they will let everyone in their mentions that was acting foul all day know about the outcome. Unless the game goes to Game Pass. Then the performance metrics will be stuck in obscurity for eternity

Well, I suppose the devs can thank Xbox fans for getting them some press because this is the only way I can see anyone giving a crap about Inspector Gadget.

I had no idea Inspector Gadget was still a thing. They gonna do a Danger Mouse game while they're at it?

And when the game doesn't sell on Xbox, as we all know it won't, the developers will be proven right for originally choosing to skip xbox and their whinny fanbase.

I hope the developer posts the sales percentage after launch between platforms

Probably gonna be

1. PS/Switch a coin toss for which platform is no 1. or 2.

2. PC

3. Xbox in such a distant 3rd that...yeah, it wasn't worth the money spent for development, time or effort.

I mean, the Devs basically asked if Xbox gamers wanted a port, they said yes and it was done….Think the OP is more obsessed with this than anybody actually involved.
