The Red Dead Redemption 2 game most likely is going to delay for next year?

So my friends, today i was reading this article and it make sense that game is going to delay.

i mean its been 6 month since announcement by only teaser and no sign of any trailer or gameplay. we dont even know who will be main character. or anything. we are in mid of 2017. and rockstar do not attend E3. do you really think its going to release this year?

I think chances are highly unlikely.

I thought it was a prequel to rdr1 and you play again as John with Dutch and the rest.

But that's how Rockstar works, and for the best. They work on their games for years, but only announce and show them monthes before release.

Rockstar has an extremely closed door policy when it comes to development. This game could have been in pre-development during GTA 5's development for all we know. Speculation is pointless.

When they are ready to release it they will and not a moment before that.

That's okay since I've been playing RDR BC on X1 over the weekend and I'll tell you what. If RDR is bumped to 4K 60 fps on Mighty Scorpio, ZOMG, it will almost, almost be like playing a next, next gen game tho yeah, RDR 2 is gonna rock on Mighty Scorpio like no othere so I hope it's not delayed. :P

Wouldn't be surprised if it gets delayed. Then again, wouldn't be surprised if it launches this year. Rockstar has a good ability to keep a tight lid on their work.

If it happens it happens but as it's my big fall game, I would be disapointed.

Ultimately I want this game completed and bug free rather than on time and shit. Mass Effect Andromeda still wouldn't have measured up if they had took the time but it would have been better than it was.

hoping not. Not big fan of rockstar but I did enjoy RDR. Rockstar aren't like Sony who reveal when game is in pre production or years away so not too worrying.

Just get the damn game to pc already!!!

@djoffer: doesn't look like PC is happening, so you'll have to play it on either of the PC Jr consoles.

Rockstar is pretty tight with sharing info. I don't think it's getting delayed.

Yeah this... them not talking about it doesn't mean it's delayed necessarily.

Many things, they have their flaws too.

Looking back, RDR is a very flawed game with an incredibly poor story with atrocious ludonarrative dissonance.

Most likely? I dunno. Possibly, sure. I see a gameplay reveal sometime soon. Looking back, it looks like GTAIV, RDR and GTAV had delays, so there's a chance.

Anyways, Rockstar has always been rather cryptic when it comes to promoting their games until like a month before they release.

I hope not delayed i pretty hyped and excited for RDR2

Considering the last one was one of my favourite games of all time you'd think there would be some rip offs by now while we wait. One of the big boys, get Clint in, pay him what he wants, it would sell more than the bible. Man with no name open world, do it.

When was the last time a Rockstar game had an E3 showing?

That sounds wonderful but why would you even think that its possible for Scorpio to enhance BC games? At best it'll be a stable 30 instead of the drops you get now.

than how can i judge? how do i know they are working on it? why other developers show gameplay footage?
