Which is fine in some cases (anyone expecting Metal Gear Solid to be anything other than a movie that occasionally deigns to let you play it is out of their goddamn mind), but a lot of times, gameplay gets sacrificed to achieve that cinematic feeling. See God of War versus Ninja Gaiden or Devil May Cry or Uncharted versus Gears of War or Vanquish.

I feel like this lem influx is just massive damage control to try and get everyone to forget that there is nothing worth mentioning on the 360 coming out until possibly Halo 4, and because of the massively terrible Kinect Star Wars.

The PS3 has a lot of good games. Even excluding what you deem to be "interactive movies" one still has to include the Resistance series, R&C, Killzone series, 3D Dot Game Heroes, Demon's Souls, Valkyria Chronicles, the recently released (and critically acclaimed) Journey, the Yakuza series, GT5, and the list could really keep going.
