Thats actually a good news. it means they can focus on game design and immersion rather than mini game about romance.

tell that to bioware and CDPR who cant make a video game without it.

the mainstream critics will give 11/10 to cyberpunk but this game will get barely 8/10 or low 9s which is also great score btw.

this will be much better game in every single way but will get overshadow by cyberpunk.

This killed a lot of my hype. Not sure if I'll be buying the game tbh. Virtual relationships are one of the most important things I look for in a video game.

by that logic MGS5 is also one of the best game ever made because it get 10/10.

This is the reason I won’t buy Metro. I saw it has nipples in it and I have a really weird problem with stuff like that.

On the bright side, at least the snowflakes on either side of the spectrum won't be offended by the presence, or lack of, a same-sex relationship.

mass effect 2 has to be one of the worst game i have ever played. its a poor third person shooter with light RPG elements and walking sim parts hailed as one of the best game ever.

mass effect is definition of anti fun in video games. TW3 i may disliked it too but its much better in every way.

Could be but it's all legendary level hypocrisy. Especially for any follower of Christianity or Judaism who's base religious teachings have "Thou shalt not kill" much higher up the list than "Thou shalt not flash thine bare arse". Not so sure about Islamic followers though, female nudity may well be at the top of the "thou shalt not" list for them.

Theres not a lot of games that get it right. Witcher 3 was the only game in recent memory.

Although admittedly, when choosing a romance option, it's not to be immersed in the game, but to laugh at Bioware. Arguably better sex scenes than The Room.

Romantic partners are also useful in battles. I like Cait in Fallout 4 because she's deadly with a Gauss rifle and provides banter during long walks. She's expensive though because she easily wrecks her power armor.

Excellent, I don't want to romance with poor pixteled characters. I think if game companies want to have romance features they should make the game a short story driven game which would drastically improve the visuals.

Meh. While I do enjoy having a feature like that available I’m not going to praise or condemn the game simply because it won’t be in there.

I never cared for romance options in RPGs. They were always awkward and very pointless for me.

Meh... I only ever romance just for the RP aspect of my character if the option is there, but that's about it. I can live without.
