The Order vs FF The Spirit Within graphics

It's gorgeous looking and probably graphics king. It's a shame the game itself isn't a better experience.

Nopes... Finaru Fantasu still wins by a mile. Look how rectangular the bodies in the Order are! FF's chars had 100K polys for bodies and 200K and for the clothes alone and it shows.

No, the real-time graphics are still not there. Maybe next gen. =)

Pointless necro, but the timing of this necro isn't too bad, now that Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV is releasing in a few months and has set a new graphical benchmark for CGI movies:

...It will take a very long time for real-time video game graphics to catch-up to the CGI quality of Kingsglaive.

Yet one is still less blurry, and can actually be watched in 1080p...

Very impressive indeed. Order: 1886 was soooo last year, this however looks amazing and almost to UC4 for that matter.

Those look good. Wonder how long a single frame of that was rendered.

BTW, the Squenix DX12 demo "Witch" almost looks like this. At least, the characters do.

The lighting in Spirits Within hasn't aged very well in regards to some of the PBR standards we have in some games these days and neither have the environments as they look quite flat.

When the game let's you play, it's actually quite great. The shooting itself is some of the best out there. Stresses patience and accuracy ---i like that.
