The second keep ticking away before the full embargo is down... Crytek and Lemmings am cry
Come on, I need more than three minutes and this guy's fruity voice.
Still nothing on Crysis 2 from 2011 and that too at 800p with 30FPS. Welcome to 2010.
You can't be serious lol
I'm unless someone tell me what does it have over Crysis 2 technically? Seriously name one thing. I dare you.;)
you tell me, Sony never raped your mother
So basically you didn't know what you kept accusing me of being jealous of. You're really dumb.
Its your job to tell us why you are so jealous? you came into this thread acting like Sony raped your family or something.
Wha? He said the game didn't look good to him.
Like what I saw. Funny though, Titanfall gets called COD with robots, lol, nothing special. This is Gears in Victorian London, with weapons that didn't exist, and pretty graphics. I am interested in it, as I love a good 3rd person shooter. Just think its funny how allegiances force people to say the same things.
Only on PS4, nothing comes close to this graphically right now. The lighting, cloth physics, character models and post processing effects are on a whole new level.
Here we go again, more shit from gpu"insecurity"king.
Everything exclusive to 900pstation is on a whole new level to him. The only thing he misses is that the level placement is downward.
@zeeshanhaider: cloth physics alone destroys crysis
Joking right? Play Crysis 2 on PC and come and tell me the pHysics employed in this game has anything over Crysis 2 Physics. Try throwing or kicking any object in Crysis 2 and especially on water. Real time on the fly computed Physics using tessellated water >>>>>> pre-defined cloth animations.
I already love the setting of the game when it was first revealed, this having Gears gameplay makes it a must buy for me. Too bad it doesn't have co-op mode, would love to kill some wolves & vampires with a buddy.
@cainetao11:
Funny how that works.
With both Titanfall and The Order I had my doubts going in. I reserved the special edition Titanfall because of the statue and figured I would just sell of the game but after playing the beta I'm hooked. Can't wait to see where it goes and how it evolves.
With The Order after seeing the new footage I am still pretty excited but have even more doubts now. I really hope they don't take the cinematic theme too far and that it's not a corridor shooter the entire time. Looks pretty so far for sure and I love the setting and themes shown but I have a bad feeling gameplay might not live up to what I was hoping for. Hopefully not because it's one of my most anticipated games for the PS4. Drive Club and Infamous just do nothing for me.
Here to hoping this and whatever comes from Naughty Dog comes around gives me a reason to use my PS4 again.

Wasn't it quoted that the Order is a linear game? Well, here's hoping its fun, and engaging. Its like movies. There is no reason a formula film cant be well done. Its just not new or innovative.
Was this game originally planned for the PS Vita? Game looks extremely linear for a console game, doesn't seem to scale well. This game will most likely get delayed, needs more work. They really need co-op or something to add replayability at least.
This is easily the best looking game on consoles but I'm disappointed that they only showed like 10 seconds of gameplay. I hate that they're hiding so much from us, at least it'll be worth it when we finally see more.
They still haven't shown the destructible environments, enemies other than humans, the cool weapons that have 2 firing modes (Resistance style), the more open areas we've seen from screenshots and the trailer, and exploration.
We need more.
I am far from a graphics whore but ill be lying if i said the graphics alone didn't make me intrested.
Ugh... I hate dailymotion. -___-
Game looks fantastic and so does the setting. Gameplay..... need to see more of it. I want at least 3 mins of UNCUT gameplay.
MINDBLOWING. Might even look better than Crysis 3 @ max settings...
I feel a downgrade in visuals will come soon... Looks WAY to good to be true. Absolutely love Victorian age London /Rule Britannia!
While it looks pretty good with it's cinematic style it doesn't impress at all from a technical standpoint. Seems like just another corridor shooter with small playable areas and it's not even 1080p or 60fps.
Come again when you have a game on ps4 with great graphics together with massive scale, huge draw distance (backdrops are not draw distance), with lots of details, several non-scripted things going on at the same time at 1080p with good frame rate.
@Vatusus:
I guess the tiny corridors did to right?
Yes. I'm not one that thinks linear = bad. In fact my fav genre (hack'n'Slash) is mostly composed of linear games. Who cares if they're linear as long as the gamplay is fun? I sure dont

This +1.
So, QTE fest linear on rails movie with 800p@30FPS confirmed? Guess 900pstation didn't change the tradition.
@zeeshanhaider: Its not 800p.
I know it's 1920 x 800. But it is still not 1080p. To be specific it's more close to 900p hence the name 900pStation.
You thinking Last of Us is boring doesn't mean it actually is.
The fact that I was incredibly bored while playing it means that it actually was.
That just proves that you either have terrible taste in games, or haven't played it. The Last Of Us is anything but boring.

Call us when your magical $399 PC can do all of that (massive scale, huge draw distance, lots of details, several non-scripted things going on at the same time at 1080p with good frame rate).
There is only so much a $399 machine can actually do and no amount of wishing will change that. Only hardcore fanboys thought either the PS4 or X1 would compete with PC's. It's a shame this gen isn't as strong as we'd have hoped but if it really bothers you that much just play on PC (on a proper one), problem solved.
So next gen is trash and already outdated struggling to do things already done in 2011 confirmed?
Im kinda worried that this game will be as linear as gears/cod/bf/moh. I do not want to advance in a straight line seeing enemies spawn in front of me, this shit is 3 gens old.
What's amazing here? There was barely 10 seconds of actual game play shown.
What's amazing is the amount of butthurt and damage control that those 10 seconds of gameplay have caused lol.

If you wanna make fun of a console that produces less pixels, maybe you should look at the One that does so on a more consistent basis with even lower resolutions.
(See what I did there?)

Show me a PC game that looks like CGI in real time from 2011. Hell, show me a PC game that looks like CGI in real time from 2013.

Yup and I call it a 720pBox. Your point?
Cows: Ryse 900p = fail. QTE = Fail.
Cows: The Order 800p = Amaze balls. QTE = Wait and see. Could be great.
No Multiplayer…
The funniest thing about all of this is that both boxes are completely underpowered and yet one of them is ok to be underpowered and the other gets ridiculed left and right. People will have just as much fun playing this as they do Ryse: Not much at all.

First tell me what the **** you are trying to say? I mean you are not calling The Order CGI, right? If yes, then let me laugh at you. Hahahaaha....that was fun. Ah....you were serious? Let me laugh even more. While you are technically right that the order is made up of CGI (Computer Generated Imagery) it's not right in the context you are using.
Tell me what does it have over Crysis 2 technically? Name one thing, I dare you. What it looks like it has a slight edge over Crysis 2 is in character animations but then FPS aren't heavy in that department anyway. So, you wanna name anything?
The gameplay footage looked absolutely abysmal so far. It will probably get great reviews, but that doesn't mean much any more. Gameplay isn't something that the industry requires these days and I feel it's games like these that do the most harm to our beloved industry.
This need to be like a movie at the expense of better gameplay and full interactivity is a step backwards from what this medium could be. These cinematically oriented games get the spot light nonetheless and the sad thing is that these games cannot be produced without having the largest of budgets. Developers cannot afford to go down this route that's caught the eye and praise of the general public.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I hope these games fall to the background this gen in favour of more spectacular gameplay focused experiences. Games that focus on the unique qualities of this medium.

Unless you're a massive fanboy yes, this gen of consoles won't be able to compete with any high end (probably mid-range too) PC from 2011/2012 onwards.
It's 399$ box (PS4) in which they already make some 18$ of profit, per unit. What was anyone expecting? There is only so much they can do with that price point. Consoles need to be cheap. Anything above 500$ is a no-go for consumers, plus companies can't really risk taking hundreds of dollars in losses to make it as capable machines as PC's (Sony tried it last gen, and look where it got them).
My point was that while PC's are much more capable (just the fact they aren't closed gives them a huge advantage from the start) they are also quite a bit more expensive. And if you want the kind of performance the other user mentioned, $400 aren't nearly enough. You would spend close to that on good GPU alone. The upside is that games are (much) cheaper, so you regain those costs sooner or later.
I wasn't the one hyping a tablet CPU and a GPU barely living up to 570 from 2010 the next big thing since slice bread. Look around in this very same thread and tell me what do you see? Good to know that we are on a same page.
@cainetao11:
Didn't know it was quoted as being so. Hmm. Still my most anticipated PS4 game. By taking the cinematic side to far I just mean constant rolling into pre rendered scenarios and too much qte like events. I don't mind cinematic at all if the player remains in control majority of the time. As you said here's to hoping. Looking forward to seeing more gameplay. Hopefully they do something to make the genre feel fresh again. I'd hate to see this turn out as simply a gears clone. Really want to see gameplay with some broader environments.
