The Campaign

The Ultimate Plot

The war betwen Russia and the western world is intensifying while makarov is still being hunted for.The campaign will take place in multiple areas that include iconic places like Wall street in the US,Moscow Russia, Dubai,Somalia and Sierra Leone.

The Amazing Characters

The campaign will see the epic return of the Task member 141 member Captain SoapMcTavish, Russian informant Nikolai,formrer SAS Cap John Price who are on the run after killing rouge US army lieutenant General Shepard.Russian ultranaltionalist Vladimir Makarov will return in this game..Some new playable characters include Derek Frost Westbrook, a sergent inthe special Air service fighting in london, Sandman, a pair of Delta force operatives in New York City,Marcus Burns,Yuri a Russian federal security agent and Wallcroft from COD 4.

The insane Multiplayer

General Info

Infinity ward and Sledgehammer have confirmed that they completely revamped the killstreak system in the game.There are now three strike packages for killstreaks which are called Assault,Support and Specialist.The assault strike package works about the same way as¸the default killstreak reward systemdid in Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops.The support strike package will not reset the player`s killstreak rewardswhen they die,but it will make the reward accumulate over the course of a match.Performing certain objective actions will also add to your killstreak reward. The specialist srike package rewards people with perks instead of killstreaks and after every second consecutive kill you will be rewarded with a new perk until you get all of them at the eight consecutive kill,but you will ose all your perks when you die.You can also scroll through all your killstreaks in this game.The rewards and unlockssystem has also been revamped in this game.Certain perks like Commando which have provided a powerful advantage to people will be removed.MW3 will not feature dive to proneor dolphin divedue to balancing issues.Hot fixes will be used to fix any issue with this game.The player`s weapon can be leveled up in this game and as the weapon levels up a number of proficiency perkslike kick(which reduces recoil while aiming down your sights) and focus(which helps you stay focusedin a firefight) will be unlocked.You can equip hyper scopes in this game on your weapons such as Red Dot SightsThis game will also have a local and online spilt screen option.A prestige shop will be unocked after the player has selected the option to prestige for the first time.Once you prestige you will gain tokens which can be used in this shop to buy things like double prestige.

Game modes

A new game mode called kill confirmed has been revealed in this game. This mode requiresplayers to collect floating dog tags for dead players corspe before a kill can be registered. The opposite team can deny this by picking up the dog tag before the other team..Another mode called Team Defender has been added. In this mode both teams musttry to capturethe flag in the middle of the map and hold it to accumulate points. Some new private match modes include Team Juggernaut, GunGame and One in a chamber.Players can also create their own game mmodes with customized settings.

Call of duty Elite

The quintessential online multiplayer service has arrived.It`s a free and paid subscription service which was first showcased at E32011.This service is for the game`s multiplayer mode andthis service is developed by Beachead Studio.You can view lifetime statistics and this service will be intergrated into social networking services.The subscription service will be priced at $49.99USD per year which will include monthly downloadable content,daily competitions with real and virtual prizes,the abilty to level up your clan,pro analysis and strageties and more.

Because I like making hype threads. I made one for gears 3 even though I haven't yet played that game. Just let yourself loose and stop acting like an activsion employee all the time and actually have fun some fun in this thread.

Hype thread for COD is a bad idea.

I don't understand this COD stuff anymore. After MW2 I lost all interest in it. when i heard BLOPS was coming out and saw some footage and realised it was the same more or less i got annoyed and then i heard about MW3 and its safe to say i will never buy a COD game again. I remember when reviewers did MW2 and said "the engine is looking a little dated" yet here we are at another installment with the same damn engine but it gets docked almost no marks for its presentation
