Ah, free revive abuse, which is up to the player is a good point. I went through both of my runs without a single revive but consequently, I abused the save anywhere, anytime, limit free system. Certainly the option to not abuse is there butIrrational or 2K nowreally should've done something to discourage major abuse, like taking away items for dying, 1 revive and 1 save at the VitaChamber per chamber, etc. Even then, there are other things to take advantage of such as respawning enemies meaning unlimited supplies.

The Vita Chamber, just make sense with the concept of the game, as if you are revived as explained in the game, it makes sense to keep the world persistant.Like I said, I do agree with most of the other points of the review though. I mean, sure you can argue that you can come up wth a dozen ways to kill an enemy, but when it comes to it. A leadhead splicer for example, will always come running and gunning in front of you, and their thougher versions can take 4 or more shotgun blasts at point blank before they go down, all this will they still do damage to you. So the fact that to the mayority of enemies you can just shock them and whack them with your wrench, kinda discourages you, because you know the other methods are less effective in practice.
It also would've been nice to have more varied plasmids, electricity on water and fire on oil, is basically the same thing. Also some weapon modifying tonics would've been nice, like finesse or sharpshooter.
