X3: Terran Conflict or a Paradox Strategy game. WHO THE HELL CAN PLAY THESE THINGS? I've read the manual for X3 and EU3 twice back to back and I still don't have the foggiest idea how to play either.
Really not sure, most games tend to spell things out for you nowadays you know... I suppose DOTA 2 had me confused for a while before I really got in to it. Recently got Don't Starve it has some of the weirdest sh*t I've ever seen in a video game, and it doesn't explain one bit of it ( thank goodness), you gotta look in the wiki for explanations.
MGS
I can't even tell whats a prequel or sequel anymore. Not to mention theres so many fvckin Snakes. I mean seriously, WHATS THE DEAL WITH THAT?
Cheleman
each game as a stand alone experience i understand but what confuses me is the time line stuff also
Kingdom Hearts. I started playing 3D and after about five minutes all of a sudden I couldn't care less about the story. BBS was great and all but this whole extended Kingdom Hearts plot is just ridiculous I don't even feel like playing Kingdom Hearts 3 anymore.

Yeah, thats what I meant to say. The timeline. So damn confusing, man...
Knights in the Nightmare for ds
And by that i mean the gameplay. Was so complex and intricate, couldnt get a grasp of most of its mechanics :P
I am still baffled on how people were shocked or floored by the story and ending of Bioshock infinite, not only did it not make sense. But they literally hinted the twist in the mansion when your trying to rescue Elizabeth. sSubZerOo
it should have been explained better so people didnt have to wikipedia it but i cant wait for the dlc, hopefully they flesh the story out more.Â
Antichamber. Didn't play much yet but it was like "Wait what..." lol
Also Bioshock Infinite was kinda confusing right as I finished it. The more I thought though the more I wrapped my head around it
Alice: Madness Return.. the game is not only confusing but filled with puzzles, kind of annoyed me but yea its one of those games
I thought you were going to say "Fibrillation" it is confusing when you played it until the end of the game when everything finally made sense.Antichamber. Didn't play much yet but it was like "Wait what..." lol

Yeah I guess you could say that one too :P But it's not known so I won't bother with any games like that

Wierd names, wierd stories. Honestly, the japanese can't do crap with stories. Or character design, christ, they are wierd looking. Can't stand Japanese games.
That's a very unfair generalizaion.Metal Gear Solid and Final Fantasy.

Who's generalizing? I'm being specific. Japanese games are weird as hell.
Killer 7mccoyca112
I'd second that. It's still one of my favorite GC games, but the game seems to go out of its way to be "out there."
To add on to the thread, the ending of Braid was a little confusing, mainly with the weird allegorical stuff at the end that didn't really mesh with the rest of game.

There is always an exception. Ummm...Like Just Cause 2! No that was a different studio...I don't know.

final fantasy and mgs have epic stories, the dialogue at times is questionable though
I remember the first Dino Crisis had me stumped constantly. I could not for the life of me finish that game without a walkthrough. Then again I was a kid back then so maybe it wouldn't be that bad now.

Love ur sig
In terms of complexity...dwarf fortress. Otherwise LSD had me legitimatly confused.Some-Mist
Yeah, Dwarf Fortress is all kinds of what. I hear it's an amzing game once you get past the confusion but I feel like the "risk/reward" here is probably not worth it; for me anyways.
