Those are a good chunk of posts and threads nowadays here anyway. It's gone way too far imo, beyond cringey into obsession territory.

I doubt it's just PC gamers behind the review bombing. Most are likely to be gamers who are fed up Rockstar games always getting so overrated by the press... Whether RDR2 deserves it or not, most of Rockstar's previous games have been overrated by the press, with a similarly large disparity between critic and user scores.

This is objectively false. PC gets most releases on the same day. Rarely few years down the line. PC has more AAAs than any other system this gen.

This is why Metacritic's user review scores are irrelevant to a large extent.

I wouldn't post a negative review unless I played the game and didn't like it, but I can see why people are revolting/review bombing. The game really should be released on PC at the same time as consoles. RockStar are greedy bastards that want to milk the game in as many ways possible. They want people to double dip, but I refuse to play the game on console.

I won't apologize for my PC gaming brethren (does a human apologize to an ant? A weed?) for shitting on console-playing simpletons, but they should not be review bombing a game. No honor in that.

The game was over hyped and will be over rated.

It looks nice but outside the main story is boring. You will spend the majority of your time riding between locations.

The controls are clunky and it's not a very good shooter. Then again Rockstar hasn't really been famous for it's amazing combat or controls so I guess that should have been expected.

User reviews are typically shite across the board. The only ones that i'll really look at and read are Steam reviews, and that's typically only if they have a sufficient amount of time in the game.
