@deadline-zero0: Well to be fair, people have been begging Nintendo for years for a remake of Majora's Mask. Though, yeah it would have helped the Wii U a lot as die hard MM fans would have done anything to get the game, probably even buy a whole system for one game.

I would much rather have a new zelda over an old one but at least they waited more than a year unlike like sony and TLOU.

Higher res, off TV play, less jaggies. (Possibly 60fps) I think MM deserves more than a 3DS overhaul.

It just doesn't any sense to develop a full Wii U remake when OoT 3DS was already done. If we had an ideal world where things magically appeared at a whim then yeah, I'd want Majora's Mask with WWHD-tier graphics and 60 FPS on the Wii U too.

Their available on the VC for the 3DS. Would be hard to remake those games in 3D though, I imagine they can remake the Oracle games with Minish Cap level graphics since that was the last game that wasn't 3D.

And here I was planning to start Majora's Mask this next week once I unpacked my Gamecube copy of the game. Looks like waiting all this time has finally paid off!

I was talking about a full remake into, maybe, ALBW art style. LA DX an OoS/A were both on the gameboy color so 3D wouldn't do anything.

I think they could do a Pokemon, and update the same overworld, rock by rock, grass by grass, and uplife the graphics. Plus no more screen transition due to hardware limitations.

Even those games on a Minish Cap level would be awesome IMO.

I'm jsut abit annoyed seeing 3D zeldas get all these upgrades and 2D ones get fucked. And to be put on a handheld, of all things.

Next Twilight Princess and Skyward Sword remakes. Nintendo please give me a new Zelda like Minish Cap.

I would MUCH rather have a Wii U version. I buy Nintendo handhelds only because I have to, but I wish most of their games were on consoles instead. I've just always hated gaming on handhelds, such a gimped experience. Unfortunately, too many good games are targeted towards the pieces of shit.

I would not mind HD remakes of those games as a bundle, no extra work required. I'd buy that.

Disclaimer: Twilight Princess needs to have the traditional control method with it.

So that makes Windwaker HD, Ocarina of Time 3D, and now Majora's Mask 3D. Yea, Nintendo doesn't milk anyone.

The difference is those are remakes not enhanced ports like the ones you see on other consoles.

Worse is when they release 2 versions of every pokémon game...

Amazingly enough, they followed this trailer up right with one for a brand new IP for the 3DS.

How the hell does a game like Majora's Mask work on a handheld, exactly?

I'm more excited for this game than I am Zelda U, but I would have prefered it to be released on the Wii U instead since Zelda games are better suited for a console over a handheld.

I knew it was coming...but I also know it's not for me.

I'm really tired of all these ports from yesteryear. New fans will have fun, I get it.

not only are the graphics not cleaned up enough, just like OOT 3DS, but I hate what they did with the moon. The detail is appreciated but it's just way over the top now. It looks silly, not creepy. A more subdued but detailed version would have been better.

I'm curious what they do about the gameplay though. MM was obviously rushed based on how a few of the puzzles were hard for the wrong reasons.

Color me hyped. I like Majora's Mask quite a bit and having it with me on the go is exactly what I want.

I'm glad this exists. I've been hoping for a Majora's Mask remake on either 3DS or Wii U.

I was a matter of time before it will be announced. Now Zelda fans will be happy it came to pass.
