The Last of Us 2 Thread - GS Review 8/10

I can see why P5R receive that score, as it adds improvements over an already high scoring game. FFVR is another story though, that game is overrated as all hell. After beating it, it's more like a 7.

First game was a 6/10.

Its dlc added to the game that is not a new game. Should Gamespot re-review say FH4 after the dlc was added to the game as it adds a LOT of new content and raise the 9 to a 10 of course not that would be stupid, and yet its ok to re-review the same game with added content because its not sold separately lol.

As for FF7 R well that was a gimme, because of its name alone, like how Gamespot gave MGS5 a 10 because of its name and the name behind it.

Its just another reason to laugh at review scores, especially the ones from this site.

Its going to be interesting. The game is all over the place. Provoking all sorts of stuff and trying to be very serious. It has that gameplay I liked but also has an even bigger cast for the cinematics lol. I dont know I think it will land on its feet because its ND. Media loves ND. I hope it succeeds on what its trying to do. My hype is kinda of meh, 7 out of 10.

As good as the first one say gamespot.

Dude once again Gamespot is on the same spot it was in 2013 end of a generation one super game comes out for PS and they low ball it,is 16 points under the average,8 is good no one should deny that but Gamespot has done it again they rate games lower to create controversy an clicks,and I am on record attacking them for Halo5 score for the same reason.

They punish Halo 5 for trying something new yet blessed another repetitive assassin's Creed with a 9,on TLOU case back then they rated Beyond 2 Souls with a 9 that shitty game yet score bomber TLOU.

There is no meltdowns here the flop game is dead,in fact the last flop before the meta game was kill was Halo5 which by the way I was one of the few if not the only cow here who defended Halo 5 and attacked Gamespot score.

I'm curious on the repeated issued takes on the violence, and whether the "wokeness" will actually be an issue within the game or if it's just the thin-skinned Twitter folks whining to just whine. With that said, I don't think anyone should be invested into the numerical values attached to the games. The first last of us was one of my favorite games, and even better on the PS4. I definitely foresee this being ported to the PS5; a 4K version or something. I care about the storytelling and how the game plays. One more week.

25h long game. that's pretty good.

Apparently there's a QTE where you're forced to bash a dogs head in with a pipe, and then you have a flashback later on where the game tries to make you feel bad for forcing you to bash said dogs head in with a pipe.

Wow exactly the same as the first one 8/10 and big on other sites. So GS doesn't like violence? They gave the ellie dlc 9/10 which is weird

theres QTE, forced sequence, forced walking semgents. but critics be like "OMG OMG this is masterpiece, BEST GAMEZ EVER"
