PC doesn't let me play classics easily either. I have two copies of Indiana Jones and the Infernal Machine. Neither work on my Win 10 system. They didn't work on any previous Windows either going back to XP. So unless I just so happen to have the only PC game that's not backwards compatible... don't give me that shit.

Have you consulted the PC Gaming Wiki?

I bet you can get it running if you want it enough. The difference with console gaming being your just shit outta luck regardless if a game is unavailable because you have no control over the software.

@pyro1245: I said "easily". I would argue it's easier to rebuy a previous gen console and play whatever game than get my Indy game to work on Windows 10.

Most are though, BIG step up from what Sony is doing.

No, ~500 of ~2000 360 games and ~40 of ~1000 Xbox games

To play all Xbox games you need 3 systems, to play all PS games you need 2. The support MS does have is appreciated but I still need all of my Xboxes. F all that. I just keep my consoles and games. I even kept some old PCs. Got a 486 w/PCI slots and a GUS and an SB AWE32 I can swap in on ISA, and a Athlon X2 w/Voodoo2 SLI and TNT2 and GeForce 2.

And wouldn't ya know, one of 'em is Eternal Sonata. Was surprised when I went to the MS store and it wasn't available.

Yep, MS doesn't get enough credit for their efforts in BC. It's a brilliant customer focused service. If only Sony & Nintendo did the same thing.

@BassMan: BC games are charged as well. See: the Xbox store.

And goodguy Nintendo charges you every gen for games you already own!

@GulliversTravel: I'm just saying to BassMan that MS can still make money off BC via digital sales.

Also, "whataboutism".

@girlusocrazy: @davillain-:" It's annoying this time around on lack of BC. It's a good thing I keep my old consoles to avoid this problem."

The problem with that is keeping the old consoles alive forever.
