So that concludes the worse Steam Summer Sale ever.
Akrillax
well at least we got these neat cards!
This topic is locked from further discussion.
So far I bought :
Secret World (currently playing, it's good concept but VERY badly optimized, runs like schit)
Crysis collection (nice graphics but the controls and tactics feel overly complicated, like why do I have to switch to strength just to do a super-jump? Can't the game just do all that crap automatically? I prefer the "consolized" controls where jump means jump, armor is always on, and cloak is just a quick switch.)
Deus Ex HR + DLC (even tho I already played it on consoles 5 times, not sure why I bought it, doesn't hold a candle to the original.)
Killing Floor (like L4D with cooler ambience and nicer weapons, might become my new favorite zombie game)
Sleeping Dogs (like chinese GTA IV but better)
Witcher 2 (boring and slow)
Defcon (already have it, but not on Steam, it was like $2)
---
So far not very happy with my $67 purchases, maybe I've been a consolite for too long but nothing I've bought feels like a "casual game." It's stuff you have to study, memorize keyboard shortcuts, and learn shit on forums. I don't like having to spend actual brain-energy in my off-hours, it feels too much like work.
[QUOTE="IgGy621985"]I bought.. Havent installed. What do you think?Anyone bought Under the Ocean? And played it? It sounds really impressive.
It's still in Early Access stage though.

It has potential to be very good, but it also has shitload of issues that need to be fixed, including strange inventory/crafting system.
But for 0.99 Euros it's alright. It was an investment for the future lol
damage report:
Commandos Pack, Sleeping Dogs, bioshock infinite, Hotline Miami, bad company 2, max payne 3, rage, dmc 3 & 4, tomb raider, witcher 3
good sale, lots of games to play
Ok, so, the cards. I see people turning them into credit and stuff. How do I do that?

Under your inventory when you click on a card it should have a green sell button.
Here's what I ended up with:
Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon ($8.99)
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed ($7.49)
Strike Suit Zero ($2.99)
Tomb Raider ($12.49)
Chivalry: Medieval Warfare ($6.24)
XCOM: Enemy Unknown ($9.99)
and a couple of Rocksmith tracks (Mississippi Queen and Barracuda) ($1.94 x 2)
...so a little over $50. Still pretty underwhelming. Was really hoping for Dungeons & Dragons: Chronicles of Mystara but apparently Capcom likes having a wasteland for an online community in that one and wouldn't put it on sale.
You sell them on the Steam MarketheeweesRusyea, i dont see a point in selling them right now though. i mean you get a few cents at the most unless you have one of those FOIL cards. id rather have the badge and the other useles shit unless the prices on them start to go up. lol
The Steam cards are already starting to go back up in price. Can't wait for some months down the road when these are going for like 5 bucks a pop.
I'll probably forget about them for a couple years. And Mark of the Ninja is outstanding. The Steam cards are already starting to go back up in price. Can't wait for some months down the road when these are going for like 5 bucks a pop.

The summer sale ones will probably get a little higher while the game ones will stay the same. I should've saved the 17 summer sale cards I got during the sale :?

Made like 25 bucks just selling my cards while in the beta. Those cents add up yo. Hopefully the Steam Summer sale ones go up soon too.

Sorry for the late reply, friends. IRL stuff and all that.
I have one and would trade ( it's the only one I have), but I have no idea how.

I'm sorry to hear that. I wish I could help.
Well that was one of the worst Steam sales I've seen. The same 20-30 games over and over..
Even though I said I was going to do my best to not buy anything this sale..I of course caved. The power of the Gaben commands you.....
So my damage is:
Monaco
Hitman Absolution
Tomb Raider and Tomb of the Lost Adventure
Dishonored and the Knife of Dunwall.
Whats the point of them? I have one i think ...Anyone here willing to do a trade?
I need dat torchlight 2 card

Just a Heads up.
Gamestop has been doing a PC game sale since the 22nd.
there are some games there like Sleeping Dogs ($8.99), Dragon Age Ultimate ($7.49), and others so if you missed out on anything go check it out.
pretty sure a lot of these are redeemable on Steam.
Yeah, some of the games are cheaper than they were on Steam. And many other sites have been having huge sales, too... Gamers GateGamestopDirect 2 PlayGet Games GoGamefly (formerly D2D) GOGSteamJust a Heads up.

vs AI try and build lots of capital ships
It's hard to play vs AI on max difficulty, that's for sure. Makes the old max difficulty unfair look like child's play.Put the AI on the easiest setting and play a bit longer game. It gives you a pretty good chance to experiment with the tech trees and diplomacy and stuff. The tutorials don't quite cover enough, but the interface is pretty intuitive so you can figure things out pretty quickly if you look around.Holy balls, Sins is hard.
