The Elder Scrolls vs Fallout. Poll.

So which of the two series to you is superior? Personally I'll be saying TES, and not because of Skyrim. I find Fallout in general to be boring, dull, genetic and bland. I can't truly explain it...it's the little quirks like karma that make it really boring to me.

Besides, fantasy is by far my favourite game setting - especially medieval fantasy.

So what about the rest of SW?

I have to go Elder Scrolls. I'm more into the elves and wizards'n sh**. But I didn't really enjoy Skyrim that much, hopefully next gen Bethesda can either A. go back to being a better RPG or B. Do the action adventure combat better and learn a thing or to from the Demons series.

I have to go with Fallout. I loved Skyrim but I didn't get immersed in the world the same way I did with Fallout 3 and New Vegas

You mean Fallout 3, right?

I think Fallout is the better series. With TES, the early ones were TOO buggy and had a few too many issues. Fallout 1 and 2 were buggy as hell also, but it didn't interfere with the games to the level it did with TES.

I've also always preferred the atmosphere and stories. Fallout 3 was miles better then Oblivion, and I enjoyed it more then Skyrim. I can't wait for the next Fallout game, but with Skyrim I was more "meh" towards it in comparison.

Oblivion and Skyrim are easily in top 10 favorite games of the gen. Elder Scrolls all the way.

Fallout 1, 2 and New Vegas are my 2nd favorite series of RPGs ever, so i'm gonna go with Fallout.

Fallout,simply because Fallout and Fallout 2 are two of the best RPG´s ever made.

TES by far to me.

TES, because Fallout is depressing. Also, Swords are cooler than guns.

TES for me, I like themedievalfantasy world more than the post apocaliptic one.

Fallout, and I prefer fantasy setting over post-apocalypse setting.

What's up with people treating New Vegas like it's somethin special? Felt the exact damn same as Fallout 3. Literally like no difference besides the Hardcore mode.

I've enjoyed The Elder Scrolls more, but Fallout is also really good.

Fallout is better. More atmosphere and it's awesome. Better than TES.

What is this? Until Bethesda got their hands on Fallout 3, there were no distinct similarities between TES and Fallout.

I am going with Fallout, but mostly because of Fallout 1 and 2 which I really enjoyed back in the day. But, as Elder Scrolls' universe expands and we can see different countries, cultures and landscapes, I am starting to like it more and more, so I may switch sides at some point in future...

I had more fun with Fallout 3 than with Oblivion, and had more fun with Oblivion than I did Skyrim. New Vegas was okay.

If obsidian made a TES game like what they did with NV, it would own skyrim as well. (after the patches, lol obsidian and bugs)

Both are fantastic for different reasons, if i was forced to choose one i would go with Fallout.

Well, it's not just for the gameplay, i think.

The Gameplay in Fallout 3 was fine(except for the Piss-poor aiming, but the game was designed with V.A.T.S in mind and the shooting was tacked on so...), the biggest reason as to why a lot of People didn't liked FO3 and a lot of Old School FO fans didn't liked it(and were warmer towards NV), is because of the writing, the type of Atmosphere and the "Fallout Charm", that strange, Freak-ish charm that The Original games had but FO3 just... Didn't, which is why it ultimately didn't feel like a Fallout game(not to me anyways)

Arcania doesn't change the fact that Gothic 1 and 2 are some of the best RPG's ever made.

I think Skyrim is better than Fallout 3, but mostly because of the improvments made in general. I prefer the Fallout style of choice than Skyrim's style of content any day.
