Considering my old job I worked 14.5 hours 5-7 days a week, the long hours don't bother me :P, it's the driving (I hate long drives).

I suppose that's a deal breaker :P

Would ask if they were in such a rush that they had to forgo common courtesy. Behavior would be contingent on response.

Worst case scenario... tell them their behavior is unacceptable. Either they make a scene, move to the back of the line or perhaps scoff at you.

I don't know what I would do about scoffing though, that's just not something I was raised to handle.

Recent, like in 2014? That would save me some time if I limit it to 2014...

I would say I enjoyed "The Grand Budapest Hotel" the most this year (I saw it in the theatres and own the Blu-Ray).

My 2014 list of good recent movies would be something like (no particular order):

• "The Grand Budapest Hotel"
• "Edge of Tomorrow" (I was not anticipating this flick last year, but it ended up being most excellent)
• "X-Men: Days of Future Past"
• "Captain America 2: The Winter Soldier"
• "Boyhood"
• "Chef"
• "Dawn of the Planet of the Apes"
• "Guardians of the Galaxy"
• "22 Jump Street"

While I might not own these movies in the future (I'm still on the fence), I did get some enjoyment out of "Under The Skin, Lone Survivor, Noah, Hercules, The Double, Calvary, Snowpiercer, Lucy, Amazing Spider-Man 2, Bad Words, Sex Tape, and The Lego Movie".

There are still movies I have high hopes for like:

Nolan's "Interstellar" coming this November,

Rodriguez' "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For",

Bay's "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" (Only for the Turtles, not Bay...I suspect it's going to be horrid),

"Starred Up",

"The Expendables 3",

Jackson's "Hobbit: Battle of Five Armies",

Scott's "Exodus: Gods and Kings",

and "Blue Ruin" all 2014 movies I have yet to see but on the list. Some released now and others are still incoming.

This list was extremely limited to 2014 flicks I saw this year. I saw A LOT MORE than I posted, but I only wanted to post movies that I thought were worth a mention. Hopefully this helps you get an idea on where my tastes lie. If I had to choose one movie I enjoyed the most this year, it would be The Grand Budapest Hotel...so far.

I see a lot of movies, but some are just forgettable movies I toss away like "300: Rise part 2, The Legend of Hercules, Transformers, Robocop, Jack Ryan Shadow, Need for Speed, Hunger Games 2, Enemy, Transcendence", etc.

Last year saw some good titles, like the surprising "JOE", "Her", "12 Years a Slave", "Wolf of Wallstreet", "Star Trek Into Darkness", "Gravity", "Frozen", "This is the End", "American Hustle", and while I liked "Thor 2" and "Iron-man 3", I came away a little less impressed with those two but still make the 2013 list.

@commonfate: thanks man for the detailed response, its a pretty dynamic thing, yeah. i also thought it was the sort of thing worth confronting someone about, so i did.

i don't think i'd do it if it happened again. guy just plead ignorance and refused to accept he pushed in, said he didn't do it. i didn't want to have the conversation forever, haha! felt like a bit of a waste of my time, but also felt like i took an opportunity to be bold - and that's cathartic.

today's the day after and it's just been on my mind. i feel a lot better though, after all he definitely did push in, and that's not on.

My Internet feels borked. I don't know what went wrong, but everything is just SLOW.

So I have two days working for one company then I'm on with another next week.

In anycase I uninstalled Planetside 2. For some reason I couldn't get the game to work, I don't know what it is, but after a certain update it stopped connecting to the servers and would just open up a Firefox Browser that couldn't connect to the internet. So I decided it was just a waste of space and uninstalled it.

Someone should volunteer to clean my computer....

In other news... the Nintendo Platform accounts for 60% of Shovel Knight sales. 27%(wiiu) 33%(3ds)

That's also not including European sales.

SW is feeling a bit dull right now. Must be the lack of big games to argue about and no recent resolution announcements :P

That too. It still hasn't gotten a release date.

Shovel Knight or Rogue Legacy guys?

I haven't played Shovel Knight but I don't think you'll dislike Rogue Legacy. Solid gameplay mechanics, lots of content and a kickass soundtrack. It'll easily steal a few hours of your life at a time but it can start to feel grindy just to stay alive once you start venturing past the castle.

@commonfate: The main knocks against Rogue Legacy is that it's more expensive than Shovel Knight and my Vita backlog is massive as it is, Spelunky included.

The thing against Shovel Knight is that it's on 3DS. Goddamn the 3DS.

Yeah, you know they just weren't good. Divergent just had this crappy lead female and this pseudo-crap world/order that didn't make much sense. Add in the lackluster performances and just a bunch of other crap wrong with the movie... definitely glad I didn't pay for it. And Transcendence just felt off the entire time. Like, it wasn't a horrible film, just... it was just there.

And I beat Hotline Miami last night, well got through the credits. Can't say I enjoyed the game; I enjoyed aspects of it but I didn't really have fun while playing it. Saw there was more to play after the credits and I was just like, "nope." Now it's time to try Dragon's Crown and FEZ. ^_^

Anyways I'm playing Fez right now and quite enjoying it. Are those two part of PS+ for you?
