[QUOTE="JeffyTheFatty"]does it really matter?? a 7.0 is still a 'good' game.BigDizzThat is up for debate. Not really because Gamespot's reviews say a 7.0 - 7.9 is "Good"
I say a drought is a time period that a game does not get higher 8.0(XBLA or VC games dont count)A drought is a substantial period of time in which nothing of note is released for a given system. Nintendo is the KING of the game drought. They have been since the N64. Looks like they will continue to hold the crown this time around with the Wii. How anyone could get by with only a Nintendo system has always amazed me.

I say a drought is a time period that a game does not get higher 8.0(XBLA or VC games dont count)lol nice try. A drought is when a limited amount (or no games) comes out during a significant time period. Its funny to see you try and make up a definition for a word thats had an established definition since gaming started. Score does not matter. It seems like your trying to own someone here......kinda lame.

Well we are on gamespot and we can only use Gamespot's scores for Ownage, so I figure we should use Gamespots scores for this aswell.
you guys need to be thougher on the word drought...a time that no game gets an A game? Thats to weak

No, a drought is when literally no games are coming for some time.bc1391No. it's when there are little/no games worth purchasing over the span of a few months. All we have to do is look at the GameCube as our quintessential example of the word "drought", because it had them early and often.
so because the ps3's had no ps3 games exclusive that scored higher than 8 since resistance... it is agreed it is suffering a drought?(for atleast another 2 months until we see how LAIR does)that wouldve been right if Def Jam didnt get 8.1

You just do something else for six months right? I own a GameCube, so I know first hand what owning a Nintendo console is like. Fortunately, I own other systems too. :)

Two games at launch, than nothing for several months? Good god. Just a bit of history to put things into perspective.
