SW favorite Kingdom Hearts?

Never played one and have no interest in playing one.

The first Kingdom Hearts. It was easy to follow and the combat wasn't all flash.

Never played, one of them animoo games with the ping-pong eyes.

Kingdom Hearts 2.5 on Critical Mode was the only time the series wasn't bad. So I vote for 2.

I'm surprised the first KH is talking the lead here since KH II is better in regards to all aspect. That said, BBS is my choice.

Topic is doomed to fail. Despite the fact the 90% of the game is based in American cartoons, it will still be labelled "weaboo" since it comes out of Japan.

Birth by Sleep is the best. It promoted use of all abilities. While, even on critical mode, you could just mash X with the occasional block thrown in to win on the other games.

KH2 , but i've only played 1 and 2 so maybe the others are better.

Everything begins to descend into blabbering madness post-KH1. KH2 has substantial improvements in a number of areas, but for those who don't remember, KH2 launched missing several chunks of content and was largely incoherent as it built to its narrative zenith. Matters only got worse when the likes of 358/2 Days was released and the ludicrousness was in full force.

KH2 FM, meanwhile, is arguably the best game (some great add-on boss encounters shouldn't be overlooked) but nothing entirely can wash away that poor first impression.

KH is a terrible franchise.

Bingo, shit gameplay, shittier story and lore, shitty art direction that isn't from Disney.

Nah, it gets labeled "weaboo" because apart from it featuring American cartoons, the game is still heavily influenced by Japanese culture. The game has a very anime look and the battle system just feeds that with all the flash and craziness that happens on screen.

Chains of Memories was my favorite. I played KH 1 and 2 because my buddy had an unhealthy obsession with them and i just couldnt hack it. CoM was nice and more my style.

m8 there's way more to "Japanese culture" than the shit you see in anime. I'd argue it isn't even representative of Japanese culture since over there "otakus" are a taboo just as much as in the west.

I only played the first Kingdom Hearts on PS2 and the Gameboy Advanced: Kingdom Hearts Chains of Memories. Lost interest after Chains of Memories and didn't bother the rest of the series. The first one I had fun playing.

You sure did need a lot of consoles back then to play the games

TC thought there is an actual good Kingdom Hearts game. That's cleaver. It kinda' like saying I have a favorite Hooker. Not possible.

I liked Kingdom Hearts 2 better than the first because the worlds were more developed, there were more sidequests and a ton more variety of Key/Swords and upgrades even for the ship. The story became much more melodramatic too, which I like as long as it doesn't get to the "tacky try hard corny mess" levels that FFXV seems to be reaching. Its battle system it's the worst in the series though, it's just a straight up braindead button masher (I heard they kinda fixed it for the HD collection) but the platforming parts were decent enough to not be trash.

KH 1 and 2 are the only ones I have played since they were on PS2 while the others only appeared on handhelds for some reason. I tried a bit of Chain of Memories when it was ported to the PS2 and it was awful.

KH2FM is one of the highest quality games period. It's balance and varied and has actual challenge when playing the highest difficulty.

It's a real shame they gave the franchise over to a new time. We got some of the low points in the series from that. BBS and 3D were both pretty heavy steps backwards in gameplay, AND that time is working on KH3.

Have to go with Birth By Sleep, loved the whole Star Wars vibe (more like Jedi vibe).

Only played Chain of Memories on GBA. Didn't like it. Very reptetitive

kingdom hearts 1. although 2 played way better, the story was better in the first one. also kh2 was confusing as **** since i didnt play the ds game.... i think kh was mismanaged.

kh 2. I wasn't too sold on the kh series until I played the second one.

KHII for me. I loved pretty much everything about that game.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is like the Devil May Cry 3 of the Kingdom Hearts Series.
