Super Mario 3D World: Official Hype Thread

Not exclusive since it's a rezzed-up 3DS port

AAAE for me, although I dislike SW polls. I do like voting with my post, as I've done here. I'm looking forward to it.

Probably my most anticipated game all year...although a proper 3D Mario (Galaxy/Sunshine/etc) would have been more anticipated, I have friends and family that will I will play this 4 player mode with.

Also, due to glitchspot, I clicked on AAAE in the poll but last second my vote changed to below AE after I hit enter, lol. Another reason to hate polls on Glitchspot.

Should I buy a Wii U

I want it to get a 10 because the fallout would be fucking hilarious but it'll probably get a 7 for some stupid reason like "too much variety" and "co-op forced me to interact with people"

All the trailers I have seen tell me this will probably score a 9. Looks amazing. Can't wait to play it.

I am actually really anticipating this game. I really like 3D Land. Soo I think I will enjoy this game as well. A personal AAA

I predict a 9/10.. its gonna be like rayman legends all over.. the negatives "if you play around really hard with the camera, it is possible to see peach/rosalina upskirt.. this is totally unrequired and makes the game politically muddled and profoundly misogynistic"

The first trailer had me thinking it looked horrid but new footage has swayed my opinion and I'm hyping it as AAA

Predicting AAE. Likely complaints? Too short, and not as well-suited for Wii U as 3D Land was for the 3DS. (After all, why are the levels so short -- they were only so brief in 3D Land because developers claimed the structure worked better for a handheld.)

It's likely a 9 or even a 10. I mean look how much the critics liked Pokemon Y and X even though it's been the worse pokemon game in recent years it only has 3D animations.. Not saying that this game will be bad... just saying is gonna get a free cookie at this point :/ Good luck on sales though, i hope this brings up the Wii U sales just enough for them to profit but not to be a success.

AAA, the gameplay I've seen looks really awesome and polished. Wish I had a Wii U actually for it. I may have to get one now...

AAE. I just don't see it scoring that high here, especially since seeing that leaked IGN score.

How does that logic work? IGN scored it a 9.6

Also do remember that this is coming off of the Galaxy series, which were rated 9.5 and 10 respectively, and which swept the awards on this very site.
