Hermits and their $10k NASA pc's got rolled this year. Lemmings and their 12tflops got humiliated yet again. Sheep and their visuals from 15 years ago weren't even mentioned.

Not only has Sony has given us the best looking game of the year, but it happens to be an open world game at that, which is even more impressive. This is what talent does, it wins.

Who is talking about the best game? This is about visuals, as in the best game technically. HFW sends ER to the moon with their visuals from 2010.

OP: Too bad graphics doesn't equate to a fun game. I tried playing the first and fell off almost immediately.

Saw this video earlier and yep, it’s a great looking game indeed. Most games look great these days though anyway even most games on the Switch. While I do enjoy the Horizon games there are plenty games that are just better games overall that I would much rather play. Funny to see the TC boasting about this though considering how it resembles an “Ubisoft” style of game. 😅

Also interesting that a game "compromised" for being on the PS4 ends up being the best looking game.

I buy what interests me, not what interests somebody else. I understand this is not how you purchase your titles because MS is starving you with exclusives, so when something does come out, you jump on it likes its the second coming (Forza is a perfect example of this). Pathetic.

You were interested in what i like. I told you, its Ragnarok, a six time award winner. HZD trashed the visuals of everything on the X, and that's undeniable. Just look at how piss poor the visuals and animations are in Infinite when compared to HZD. Its generations apart.

lol I swear before this generation started xbox fans were beating their chest about how Xbox Series X was going to be having the best looking games of the generation and all types of nonsense but their games can barely even get nominated.

After all that complaining about Collisto Protocol from people here because if performed best on PS5, it still ended up being nominated #2 best graphics of the year over 30fps Plague Tale Requiem praised by the same people.

Stop making shit up. Ragnarok is a better game. I bought Ragnarok. HZD is a much better and more impressive looking titles, and won the best looking title of 2022. Millions have enjoyed that game, but not me, its not for me. One thing for sure, tho, both titles are SONY EXCLUSIVES and you can't touch them.

But, XSX is still more powerful than PS5.

Gameplay and story are far more important for games, which Sony/PS5 titles are also far superior over MS/xbox in, going by all unbias metrics.

Yes, XSX has a more powerful GPU, but the system as a whole has not measured up to smart architecture of the PS5 in real world games.

PS5 has delivered the best looking games every year of this new generation (again, not just my opinion, backed up by all unbias sources) but you're here clinging on to a power narrative that even MS own developers can't deliver on.

Let me ask you 3 questions:

1. what ever happened to Xbox Series X 25Tflops of RT power?

2. That was another claim made by MS promoting XSX, do you still believe that marketing line?

There’s my point. Msfs was amazing to look at, and I played it for a couple of hours. If hzd fw was on psplus and you subscribed, you’d play it …. But much like tlou, Spider-Man, days gone and that shogun game, you didn’t buy it because graphics don’t impress you that much - you only get moist when a game that you have no interest in gets an award for what we already know - nice visuals, middling game.
