Streets of Rage 4 will have the greatest soundtrack of all-time

- Yūzō Koshiro (Streets of Rage 1, 2 & 3, Sonic the Hedgehog, The Revenge of Shinobi, Shenmue I & II,...)

- Motohiro Kawashima (Streets of Rage 2 & 3, Shinobi II, Batman Returns,...)

- Yoko Shimomura (Street Fighter II: The World Warrior, Kingdom Hearts I, II & III, Legend of Mana, Parasite Eve,...)

- Hideki Naganuma (Jet Set Radio & Future, Super Monkey Ball, Sega Rally 2,...)

- Keiji Yamagishi (Ninja Gaiden, Tecmo Bowl,...)

I don't think I've seen a greater super team of composers. As if Yuzo Koshiro and Motohiro Kawashima weren't enough, but to have them joined by such other legendary artists as well, like Hideki Naganuma. Right now, I'm way more excited over the music than the game itself!

Music in games is mostly lacking these days. Generic musical scores with sone decent stuff here and there, but id rather be dancing.

@heirren: I get what you're saying, but I'm supremely confident that every track is going to be at least pretty bangin,' especially with Hideki Naganuma on board. If the OST is anything like Yuzo Koshiro's current work, it'll be on par with the rest of the SoR series.

As for platforms, it hasn't been announced for anything specifically, but it'll most likely be for everything similarly to other games from the same publisher.

It has a lot to live up to. If it wants to be a Streets of Rage game, it has to be exceptional.

@DocSanchez: Yup, and especially since SoR Remake exists. The OST will go a long way in regards to my enjoyment though.

I never found the soundtracks for the Streets of Rage games all that compelling myself but I do really enjoy the Street Fighter II and Ninja Gaiden soundtracks so I’ll take a wait and see approach to this.

Yeah don't care about the soundtrack as I can't even remember 1 tune from any of the games.

In other words music is not a priority for me.

When is SoR4 releasing?

I don't doubt streets of rage 2 is one ofthe best soundtracks of all time.
