STOP comparing Halo3 to SSBB!!!!

One is a game in its own 3d fighting genre and the other is a FPS.

Just because some of their features are similar does not mean anything. All new multiplayer games will have these type of things.

Actually, SSBB's map editor lets you create your own levels, Forge is simply an *extremely* diluted version of Gary's mod that only lets you work with existing levels to place items on the map. How is that similar in any way? It's all fun and games stacking cores or flying your friends around by having them stand on a crate that you move, but is that the same as making your own maps from basic building blocks? I think not.

They're two different genres though, so yes, it's odd to directly compare them, other than to say "I'm more excited for SSBB".

Seems to me that the feed bag for the sheep has been contaminated with " Mad Cow " b/c lately, they seem to be afflicted with that same disease; over hype & under deliver.:lol:

Actually, SSBB's map editor lets you create your own levels, Forge is simply an *extremely* diluted version of Garry's mod that only lets you work with existing levels to place items on the map. How is that similar in any way? It's all fun and games stacking cores or flying your friends around by having them stand on a crate that you move, but is that the same as making your own maps from basic building blocks? It's a great game, but a 9.5? Hell no... 8.5 / 9.0 more like it.

Also because you can't find and join Forge games thats another reason. But when done right forge is amazing. I love batting people in the air with a radio antenna that I'm controlling in the air as the editor it's hilarious.

Smash bros is fully 3D but with 2D effects ... at least teh previous ones were, added to its charm to me :P

I agree... if they did more people realize how wicked forge is. A lot of peopel on my friends list dont even understand that it's a form of gameplay and not just a place for them to edit the levels

Most people on XBL dont know what it is. Its I really intuitive idea but it needs to be played by random matches not just firend matches

lol just because were not hyping it as AAA on GS does not mean its not AAA. Obviously you have heard GS is basically a 360 site now because any shooter that is pretty gets an AAA. People are obviously gonna do the GOTY threads because its simply system war logic. Obviously Halo 3 will get GOTY if GS has anything to say about it. The game is being compared to it because of its features not because of what GS thinks about it.

Yeah. I know for a fact it will get AAA other places. But everyone knows how GS likes to pwn sheep. So Im expecting an 8.5. Lol. Either an 8.5 or 9. But like I said GS h8s sheep...

I know IGN will give it a 9.6 or 9.7. It'll probably be in the 9.4 range in Game rankings.
